  1. "We've just won promotion and we'll probably lose more games than we win. The more consistent teams are the ones with the better quality players, that's why Manchester United and Chelsea are consistently up there. Then. "As a team that has got promoted we are probably going to lose more than we will win. The teams that have more consistency are those who have the better players. "That is why United, Arsenal are up there. This is a learning curve for us and we have to make sure that from the lows we bounce back.” Surely thats just a MASSIVE mistype though?
  2. it's alright - I've seen them before and don't feel the slightest bit daft.
  3. Did he really say that? What a mental. Did he sort of have a memory lapse half way through or summat?
  4. For me Routlege plays well when he has a rediculas ammount of space to run into, if the games compact (like it was yesterday, to extreme ammounts like) he just doesn't seem to want to run at people.
  5. And hows that working out this season?
  6. Yeah, Nolan was better than both combined...
  7. Can pretty much garentee that if Ben Arfa had have done the same this forum would have been full to the brim with comments about how it was the best piece of individual play we'd seen in a Newcastle shirt since Ginola was here
  8. Suppose I should stick this here instead of poluting the Nolan thread with more Jonas talk. But what exactly suits Jonas as a left winger rather than a right winger?
  9. Utter tripe! I've already acknowleged with a that I got that bit wrong, settle down dear. Dear? Your smiley looks more like a dig at Ronaldo than a acknowledgement of another stupid statement to be honest
  10. In contrast i'd say we met Stoke and Blackpool at 'the wrong time'... Yesterday excluded we havn't played poorly at all this season, regardless of the opposision, we've created chances and largely been the better side in pretty much every game bar Man U. Now i'm not expecting miracles, but I think we've showed enough to suggest we can definatly stay up fairly comfortably, which would be a good season to be honest.
  11. Utter tripe! I've already acknowleged with a that I got that bit wrong, settle down dear.
  12. learly clearly The fact is he often beats his man to the byline but has absolutely no left foot what-so-ever, and considering he cannot or doesn't shoot this renders him pretty useless as a left winger. What exactly makes you think he would be any worse on the right?
  13. Jonas is not a left winger at all, he's a right winger who was shunted out left because he and Enrique have some sort of love in.
  14. I wonder how shit Routlege would look on the left to be fair...
  15. Thing is with Taylor is he'll grab quite a few assists and a couple of goals to boot, aswell as better link up play going forward. Taylor in the side for 'all the other things' he does with Jonas ahead of him to link up with in attack and defence. I think that partnership would be a lot more effective than the current Perch & Routlege partnership, which is our weakest part of the team in my opinion.
  16. I agree and have been saying it for a while now, he has no end product and I don't know how Jonas gets more stick. This.
  17. This. This x2. Not ashamed to say "I would" like.
  18. Don't realy understand this whole "Jonas was shit" bollox, I thougt he looked our most dangerous player when he came on (which wasn't hard to be honest). This wasn't a game where creativity was needed though, we would have been better off just fielding our tallest side, regardless of ability, and just hoofed the fucker back up at them. I would have stuck Ole Soderberg up front to be honest.
  19. Yeah, we are going to get absolutely raped down the right against Citeh to be honest.
