Not a big fan of either of the centre halves we've signed to be honest but it's reasonable (for the level we're competing at) quality depth we haven't had in years, if Rafa sees something in these players, let's give them all the benefit of the doubt for at least a year Aye. I mean I agree with people that Rafa's transfer record isn't perfect, but I trust him to have a quality functioning side come the start of the season, even if everyone is not a hit.

He was deffinitely a CM when he played for Wigan and for a time at West Ham. Hull fans don't seem too happy he's leaving either.

Not watched him since he's been in the Championship but he actually played across the entirety of midfield for West Ham and Hull after Allardyce tried to turn him into an attacking midfielder iirc.

Diame's a more rounded midfielder than Sissoko like, and I think he'll actually be a better fit for us given we sorely lack any kind of presence in the middle. His end product is just as bad though from what we've seen in the Premiership, he was hardly slicing defences open or hammering in thunder-bastards week in week out
