  1. Anyway, I think I've found the reason he was so bad yesterday: http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/papiss-cisse-answer-newcastle-uniteds-10047388
  2. He has to be up top, either just behind or alongside Perez at least for the next game. It's patently obvious but I'd be surprised if it happens.
  3. All 3 of them ran into the box to bock the cross leaving him free, it was ridiculous. No order.
  4. The problem was that if we replaced Cisse with Austin we would still only have 1 recognisable Premiership striker We've since signed Mitrovic, but we'd still only have 2 strikers. Which is insane. Cisse was absolutely horrible last night, so bad that I actually think I hate him now, something which has't happened since Guthrie's performance against West Brom. But there was still no need to get rid of him.
  5. It's baffling, but I think he looks at Anita and Colback as our only true old fashioned CMs, like if he was playing on Football Manager that would be their preferred position where as the rest would be something slightly more exotic. And the only way, in his eyes, that you can play an exotic 'Attacking Midfielder' or a 'Playmaker' deep is if he's alongside a true 'Anchorman' with his arrow pointing backwards and set to all out defence, for the protection. Suicide otherwise. As we don't have a player who's fully green in that role we play Anita there with Colback alongside him set as a Box to Box man and instructed to keep it simple. This gives the allusion of balance and rigidity that will allow our attacking players to run amok unshackled. 2 natural central midfielders sticking to their roll, no fuss. You then add your exotic Playmaker in front of them, protected and free to roam, keeping him perfectly centre of the screen because it looks mint and you're OCD as fuck, add 2 wingers either side and a poacher upfront. Sorted. You then get tanked 5-0 off Wigan in the League Cup, reset your save, and offer Jack Colback to every club in the country. Basically what I'm saying is he's an idiot.
  6. Yeah it was so obvious we needed a commanding central midfielder but we f***ed it off for some reason. Completely clueless. Not if you look at PSV. He's here and playing to far forward. Wijnaldum? Who does he play alongside though? I know it's cliche but we need a physical presence in the middle, and not necessarily a defensive one.
  7. Yeah it was so obvious we needed a commanding central midfielder but we fucked it off for some reason. Completely clueless.
  8. -------------------- Krul -------------------- Janmaat --- Mbemba -- Colo ------- Haidara ----------- Wijnaldum - Anita --------------- Thauvin ---------De Jong ----------- Aarons ------------------- Perez -------------------- Swiped Yorkie's lush template.
  9. De Jong behind him/alongside would have helped too. We were better when they came on but I still thought we looked incredibly disjointed with players all over the place. Was basically Cisse up top and then everyone else behind doing random shit, no focus.
  10. yeah, they are different players but you have the same problem with each of them (especially when played together) in that they both cannot effect our attacking play at all, I assume that's what Dave getting at anyway. We're not only lacking in penetration from midfield when we play them both there but we're also lacking up top too by dropping De Jong/Perez/Aarons etc. It's mental.
  11. I know it's Paddy Power and that like, but even so why is a large professional corporation churning that out?
  12. Do you think he should have been hired in the first place? If not then why do you think he should remain in charge? He's not good enough, he'll never be good enough. I'm not Ashley so I cannot make the decisions but there's no reason I cannot express my opinion on what should obviously happen with my club were we not ran by a spiteful c***. Quite the opposite, mate I'm with you. Haha ahh sorry man

  14. It would make perfect fucking sense as he's absolutely shite.
  15. And nor should it. I mean it obviously should like, if we had anything at all about us as a club The problem is we haven't, we're pointless.
  16. Yep and have been proven right time after time. His record is shit. His attitude is shit and he's got no footballing intelligence whatsoever. He's all brawn and no brains. In your own mind, aye
  17. It's completely nonsensical he was on the bench. Ben Arfa for Ameobi/Taylor/Obertan levels of utter stupidity.
  18. He's been absolutely horrible like, really fucking bad.
  19. Come on, man. Why not? He isn't good enough.
  20. The positives were mainly "we don't look like we're going to concede every time the opposition comes forward every game" though.
