I think you could say that about the whole squad tbh, LFEE. Instead of just keeping it simple we've got most of the midfield and attack trying to interchange with each other and play multiple roles.

He had a 1 in 2 record last season despite coming on half of those games as a sub ffs Granted he shouldn't be starting for us and he put in one of the worst performances I've ever seen last week, but people have been calling him worse than shite for 3 year now yet he's only had 1 truly bad season. Every time he misses the target people over-react. Maybe age and lack of caring has finally got the better of him, fuck knows, I don't think he looked any different yesterday to his usual self though.

Our midfield didn't make chances without him upfront. Janmaat and Sissoko did everything themselves. Thought his movement was fine although I wasn't really paying much attention after about 25 minutes. Nothing out the ordinary for him anyway.

It's not though, he isn't good enough and should bever have been given the job. He's only here becuase we're ran by a spiteful man child, not becuase he's going to improve us as a football side. Sissoko likes to roam and Thauvin (who also likes to roam) is either still getting used to the league or just isn't that great as a direct winger. Sissoko was excellent today mind, but in the first half especially I wasn't even sure where anyone was playing, it was weird. Not sure if Aarons is the answer but Perez should be on the wing when Mitrovic returns.
