  1. Howay man GT, I get what you're saying with the rest, but we'll never know this if he doesn't play. It's the same sort of argument that was used when Mbiwa, Ben Arfa and Marveaux weren't playing, Abeid too. I think it's pretty obvious he's better than Obertan too.
  2. Yet he neglected (and continues to neglect) to play Aarons. There was absolutely no excuse for playing Obertan like.
  3. Our squad is shite but any manager who willingly chooses Obertan over Perez 3 games in a row and was led to believe Anita and Colback was his best midfield is clearly inexcusably disturbed. As for tactics I'm not even sure, what he's trying isn't working and we lack the players for it.
  4. Fully agree with Matoon, we could be fighting near the top easily if we had an owner who wasn't seemingly running us into the ground out of spite, I mean we effectively gave away Yanga Mbiwa, Ben Arfa & Santon and decided to ignore the fact a bargain £11m Cabaye was wanting to come back to the Premiership, despite him being the exact midfielder we need. Not that I disagree with Neville's argument on the whole like. EDIT: Obviously our fans being soft as shite doesn't help either, I don't think this is exclusive to us like, it seems more of an English thing in general.
  5. How/why did he not just fuck off somewhere they couldn't touch him?
  6. Because he's a fucking useless bellend and he's talking absolute shite Ofcourse we want communication, as we also want to be ran as a proper club, it's a package really.
  7. He's the only player we have who will stick wide, loaning him out would be fucking insane Not that it actually matters in the grand scheme of things like, but it would be yet another utterly brain dead decision.
  8. I don't get the Sissoko hate like, he was class at the weekend and along with Janmaat was responsible for the only period of the season where we've actually looked semi-dangerous. He's massively hit and miss like, especially on the wing. I don't even think it matters like (if he plays or not, or anyone else for that matter), our squad on the whole is shit, our manager is shit, our coaching staff are probably shit. We're going to get bummed senseless off a shit Chelsea side.
  9. I don't know how anyone could like him after listening to him over the past few years like. Him and Anderson were a massive part of the problem.
  10. I'm glad he's saying it like but aye, he can fuck off. Same with the Chronicle around the Cardiff game a couple of years back, fully willing to let the club rot as long as they're getting something out of it.
  11. Vieira (who I didn't want like but obviously would have took over McClaren for the craic) and Garde just show that they're openly taking the piss tbh. They had no interest in signing either yet they obviously knew they were names which would excite the fans. It's the same with putting bids in at the final hour which are obviously going to get turned down.
  12. I don't think Ashley will bring in the right manager like, or that we'll buy a proper squad. I think we'll continue to be absolutely rotten but people are finally cottoning onto it, the speed in which people have turned on McClaren is mental considering these are the same people who were calling us fickle and stupid for twisting after 3 years of this bollocks under Pardew.
  13. It is part of a bigger problem, but thankfully now I think it's easier to oust the manager, which makes the club as a whole unstable. I'm trying to stick with the admittedly slightly naive 'keep kicking up a fuss and eventually Ashley's position will be untenable/he'll have to get a decent manager' angle. I don't really have an alternative because I've never liked McLaren, don't see that position changing at any point, and almost comprehensively hate our squad for one reason or another. Pretty much my angle tbh. Seeing dickheads like Lowes kicking up a fuss is a good sign, it surely cannot carry on like this.
  14. I appreciated his effort the weekend like but he just doesn't look like he can do anything for us at the minute. Baring Cisse, Mitrovic and Aarons we've effectively got a collection of forwards without any real defined role, it's weird. Never seen a team like it before.
  15. I'm really surprised it's turned sour this quick like. Honestly thought it'd have took another few months of this.
  16. Honestly creases me people genuinely believed he wasn't good enough for Hull City
  17. Hmm, maybe we should have doubt Steve Bruce after all.
  18. Yeah CB and CM are obvious. It's difficult to assess the rest really until that's sorted out.
  19. I don't think Thauvin is too lightweight mind. He seems spot on physically, just needs to do better with the ball at his feet.
