Colback's criticism is harsh but that's mainly because he's a little shitbag. I agree though, I don't think Anita has shown enough to suggest he should be 1 of our 2 main central midfielders this year, I think we need to buy someone else (we'll obviously not like). I just want to see him in a team that at least has some kind of plan, if he tuns out to be shit then so be it but he's shown himself to be incredibly comfortable on the ball in the past and, unlike Colback, he's willing take risks. Anyway, at worst he's probably the best cover we have at either fullback position.

You'd think anyone observing the Premiership for any length of time wouldn't judge foreigners after a year in the league, unless they generally just look like they have nothing about them. I think Cabella showed enough quality on the ball to not be instantly sold at the first opportunity, especially considering we have like 1 other winger who was injured for the whole of last season.

Liverpool's 3rd in the 6-0 is the only one I can remember him being directly responsible for. One of the few time's where I've actually thought "what the fuck are you doing?" when he was fannying about on the wing.

Keeping our shape in some rigid 4-4-2 only really worked for the first dozen games or so, we went on a disgusting run after Man City broke our streak and it wasn't until HBA, Ba and Cisse were up top that we actually looked like a team capable of finishing in the top 4.

Howay man, they're a massive club in their own right. How many players have excelled there and got big transfers? Not like they are some Euopean football's backwater. I'm just saying we should be able to compete with Porto. They're a big club yes, but they're not Real Madrid or Bayern Munich. He's 20, he'll be looking for a stepping stone and the PL is a much better shop window than the Portuguese league. He'll probably play more here too. Due to foreigners seemingly not knowing how utterly pathetic we are as a football club we will be able to like. It shouldn't be the case though, it's actually repulsive that any player with dignity would choose us over them.
