  1. Just noticed this beauty. I tell you what, go into the Bodega on a match day and say that to Biffa's face. He isn't wrong though. So I don't suppose anyone would have a problem with telling Biffa. Will you do it then? I don't see any particular reason why I wouldn't talk a bloke if I knew who he was. Probably not going to inconvenience myself to do so though. Given that I live in London - he can always pop down and have a word himself if he wants. There's a difference between talking to someone and accusing them of being in the pay of the club. My point still stands, having seen the clip of the kid who made the 'club's pocket' point, there's no way on earth he'd say that to the blokes face. Maybe you would? Why don't you go and say that to his face?
  2. still cannot believe we just gave this guy away.
  3. Still going for more Surely there cannot be a Newcastle United supporter out there not watching this and realising just why we need to get rid of Pardew.
  4. Laughing at people striving for change is okay then I presume? Laughing at nobody. The organisation around the protest was fantastic and I had me flyer, just tired of reading constant griefing of the '50,000 idiots'. Very much this. To call someone and idiot because they happen to have a different viewpoint is extremely arrogant. Like I said earlier, genuine football fans are loyal to their club by default, to ask them to stop going, shout against their team and actually want the opposition to win goes against the grain....and besides, nobody likes being told what to do. I think it's going to take another home thrashing for it to turn nasty again, but I'm sure the next one isn't far away. This club, at this period of time, is literally the only time in the entire history of English football that this has happened. Any other club, at any other point in time, and Pardew is out of a job. There are teams that have been relegated and have kept their manager so I don't see that. Also how many clubs have sacked their manager 5 games after finishing 10th in the top flight? Not that I'm supporting the hopeless b******, just playing devil's advocate. Spurs just sacked their manager for coming 6th. The previous one was sacked in 7th. The one before him was sacked after coming 4th. Spurs have an ambitious but trigger happy owner and Liverpool are a successful club. 10th place for Newcastle is probably above our historical average, and anyway we all know that Pardew isn't employed for footballing reasons. I don't have a problem with 10th place finishes as such, but when you are actively wanting to avoid Europe and any cup runs then it starts to stick in the craw. Then serving up s*** football on top of that is the straw breaking the camel's back. I agree, was just countering someone saying that in any other time in English football history, he would be gone. We all know he's fulfilling the owner's instructions of barely keeping us in the PL, so he can advertise his company all over the world. Do you honestly think Ashley gives a toss what style of football he plays? He'll only do something about the situation when he sees our PL status is threatened. I think most of our fans know we're deep in the s***, but clearly Ashley (the man who employed JFK twice lest we forgot) knows as little about football as he did in 2008. I was trying to be upfront with my hyperbole like. He's in a very small pool of managers though, especially considering he's managing a club like Newcastle United. He's been very clearly out of his depth for around 2 years now, there's no point in keeping him here, I cannot fathom why any fan wouldn't at least be slightly interested in shafting him and seeing where we go from there. The isn't anything to lose, there's potentially a lot to gain.

  6. Tbf Shola, you are calling people "heed the balls" for clapping their team off the pitch after a well fought fightback against a sterling Hull City side.
  7. Sick to death of this "protesting against the wrong person" nonsense. Division for the sake of division. It's probably no coincidence that Ashley chose to sit in the ground smirking like a fucking arsehole on the day of a supposed mass protest either. "You fat cockney bastard!" It's what he wanted, man.
  8. It's easy to forget this as the 5th minute protest fell flat, but the impact outside of that has been huge.
  9. Fair play I was thinking at least he isn't totally naive. And then: I think, in a round about way and probably the only way he can, he's trying to highlight a very real problem at the club. Ashley doesn't like spending money on players. He's trying to point out that the club won't spend enough to aim for top ten. Despite his own lack of competence this an extremely salient point. http://sackpardew.com/myths/his-hands-are-tied-by-ashley/
  10. Imagine, as a manager of a Premiership football club, admitting that you cannot challenge for the top 12 (THE TOP FUCKING 12), now imagine admitting that as the manager of Newcastle United.
  11. My little sister's just bought a season ticket like. Took a Sack Pardew banner into the ground and left it buzzing over a 2-2 draw with Hull. Those kind of people. Sub-human scum. you just called your sister sub-human scum. "Took a Sack Pardew banner into the ground and left it buzzing over a 2-2 draw with Hull." I was being kind.

  13. I just don't find it in me to criticise fans for having a different view about the way forward, that's it really. People need to be held accountable for talking absolute shite, Ian.
  14. 5 games and playing in a new league. "Shite."
  15. But yeah, we got behind the team today and were rewarded with a draw at home to Hull! Fucking class, really worth writing off another year for.
  16. There's nothing rational about trying to paint today as us "playing well," or blame out shortcomings on the lack of a striker and a centre half. You're defending your mate, not the club you've supported for 40 years.
  17. After a home Draw to hull. Cyber tears after another home draw.
  18. I'm pretty confident that we could have put him on the ropes today. Instead we applauded a 2-2 victory at home to Hull.
