Robert's were usually further out but hit with an arced trajectory, I may be forgetting a proper stinger from him though. I just love strikes where the ball seens to barely move in the air and arrows past the keeper, Isak's is probably the best example as you can see the ball barely turning on it's axis once it was hit.

It's on par with Isak (Liverpool) and Ben Arfa (Everton), only beaten by Martins (Spurs) imo, for strikes on the past 20 year that I can remember. Such a shame it was 'wasted' against Bromley, no keeper in the worpd saves it

Not encouraging? We know his limitstions, we've seen him make over 100 Premier League apearances. He's thanfully out of the stadting XI now, he's a good professional, will keep himself in top shape and step back into being a reliable squad player. He'll be behind Miley soon.

Still baffled as to why people are desperate to get shot of him like. If we can can sign him on a contract (possibly on lower wages) then we're sorted for a backup keeper for next season.

Aye I haven't seen much of Elliott so cannot say much how he would be on the wing, only 21 too.

I think our RW needs to be able to put up numbers, like 20 goal contributions a season, similar to Gordon.

I don't think it's short memories with Pope like, we're becoming a better side in possession and I think his kicking is becoming more noticeable. Teams know that if they can get a forward within a few yards of him he's going to kick it into touch. He's a much better keeper than Dubs, and much better off his line, he'll no doubt reclaim his place.

I don't get the issue with renewing his contract like, he's not a bad number 2 and would be an excellent 3rd choice.
