James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)
Hanshithispantz replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
There's nothing arrogant about it. They've got a completely unproven manager and they're in real danger of slipping out of the European places consistently when their absurd front line ages/leaves. Brighton are looking better and better each year and Villa have Emery. Anything can happen in Football, but Spurs don't look in a great place at the minute and they have much greater competition than they did even a few years ago. -

If him/his lass want to move to London then it's fair enough like, not much we can do about that. There isn't much to suggest they're going to be a force on the pitch next season though. They're in danger of dropping back into mediocrity. -

Just waiting for the innevitable photo of him hanging an orca. -
It is possible he isn't really aware of the cruelty and simply saw "meet tigers" while on holiday and thought "ah that's cool"

SUPERTOON vs The Prophet in the great N-O transfer aggregator wars of 2023. -
The SporTV presenters all wearing the exact same outfit, including trainers, is unnerving.

The mad cunt's only gone and done it.

Probably Giggs but Joelinton launching people for 6 minutes straight.
-
Fucking loads of Joelinton content all over Youtube nowadays.

Messi is that highly rated through WhoScored's statistic model like, every player is rated through the same metrics. He'll be that high through consistent chance creation and key passes or something.

Would split them I would imagine. I think Maddison is probably better from direct freekicks. -
Madison is outrageously good, the fact he can kick a ball further than 18 yards towards goal removes a massive weakness of ours too.

I just see what goes on here sometimes so I might be underplaying his content, but Lawson doesn't go far enough with what he puts out imo. He seems to have access to good data but just makes a pie chart or a passing radar and calls it a day. I brought it up the other week, but he made a small thread essentially just pointing out that we made dummy runs on a set piece against Brighton, it felt like it should have been a minor point as part of a larger analysis.

Really nice. Great to have a sponsor that isn't a disgusting eyesore.

Nobody in their right mind would swap our season for West Ham's like West Ham fans will have amazing memories, which is why the tournament is so good, but it's hardly some major scalp. You enter the competition through extremely specific circumstances (finishing 7th) and then have to beat sides who realistically you (7th in the Premier League) are going to be on par with at worst. Home and away so the away factor is removed too. I'd definitely prefer watching us in the Conference League than the League Cup like, even though as a major honour the LC is much better.

Old post, but most people are far more knowlegable about the game tactically now with the recent trens of tactical analasys on Youtube as well as tye easy access to data. Most fans just used to blag it tbh

As for the ECL vs top 4 thing, we still talk about Shearer vs Inter Milan, the Barcelona 3-2, BELAMYYYYYYYYY!!! IT'S IN!!! ect. A season definitely isn't just forgotten if you don't win a trophy.
