He may have done nothing in that game but he's done lots of things in many others, I don't think you can judge a performance against one side and translate it 1-to-1 to another. Obviously you could have won like, but Man City were dominant in the second half of the season. The treble seemed inevitable.

Man City had just come off the back of one of the best CL knockout performances ever like. They also have the ability to step up a gear when they go behind as we see time and time again. I don't think there's a team on the planet you could say for sure beats them in that final, Inter played great.

How though? It's quite easy to make the argument with his stats alone. I love Bruno and Isak and I think the latter especially will get better and better, but Maddison is up there with them.

FWIW Maddison's G+A per 90 is higher than Isak's (0.69 to 0.65) which should put into perspective how dangerous he is. Isak should only get better, but people are massively underrating Maddison like. Given how often we get the ball into the opposition box, and how many fouls we draw, he should be made for us too. I'm going to stop sucking him off now though as it's getting a bit embarrassing.

Maddison has a cracking left peg on him tbf.

Zaha is like 30 though and Maddison is better than him. Maddison is arguably better than Bruno and Isak (atm).

He's worth more than 50m like, you'd hope we can get him cheaper given the situation but Leicester are completely within their rights to try and get something remotely close to his actual value.

I only watched the Luton game I think but their issue was that they weren't athletic or physical enough to keep up with Luton, I'm not sure how Jeff Hendrick solves that issue

He might but the only chance we would have of getting him is if his reputation in football isn't actually as great as everyone seems to think. If he is then Madrid, Barcelona, Man City, Bayern etc aren't going to let a 'generational talent' go to Ajax for £17m, they will be in talks with him now, and then loan him to Ajax.

Not in that material/style, I think that shirt looks shite (the majority of modern shirts do). But I could see it working. There's only so much you can do with stripes on a shirt, I prefer radically different designs but they obviously need to be well designed.

It's been said before but he's about the most sure thing we could get to rectify probably our biggest weakness. As much as that Hungarian lad looks potentially amazing, I'd much prefer Maddison. He'd be our Bernado Silva.
