I have no problem with people being content with Pardew, I suppose I am too, but this reaction towards anyone who would prefer a better manager in to push us to next level is just daft.

We were without 5 first team players and made a decent account of ourselves at the SoL which is very pleasing, they're quite clearly the far superior footballing side though and are probably a lot better than they showed today. I still cannot get over the difference in footballing philosophies from both managers, even though this was one of our better days in that regard.

I think you guys just read what you want to read, personally. Most on here were realistic about our chances/the abilities of our teams and were generally accepting of the probable outcome of the tie. They were also at home and needed the post & linesman's aid as well as the opposition to gift them 2 goals. i think we didnt see the same game...lol Clearly not.

Still though, as I said I envy their style of play, it's fucking great to watch.
