The 2011-2012 Betting Thread: Last call for 2011/12 football, pretty much

Depends on how well Poland do really. If they'll go far, of course. If not, Gomez will outscore him probably. Has there been anything said over there about who will get the nod up front for yous? Klose's one of the absolute favourites of Löw - so I expect him to start. It had been mentioned that Gomez has been in great form all year, too, but I really think if Klose's fully fit (he is, according to Jogi) then he'll start. -

Why have Villa moved their dugout anyway? Would it not just make the manager's job harder? EDIT: Just read about it, seems utterly pointless.

Big Club to me is your current stature in the game, your fan base, finances & spending power, facilities, current squad & global attraction etc. Historical success has no bearing unless it actually effects any of those things imo (Liverpool are a good example of this).

I'm pretty positive Wireside is aware that his comments will be posted on here and is therefor on the wind-up constantly even on his own board, and twitter, and probably in his day to day life too. I also reckon he's a proper scruffy cunt.

Keeping these here. I'll probably stick them on in the morning if I still fancy them. -
He seems to be one of the players who refs will show an early card to in an attempt to 'take control', but will then let a few go later on in the game, prime example being Everton where the referee effectively let him off with another 3-4 offences and just looked a total plum.
-
It's still awful having to sit through 70+ minutes of Chieck on a yellow card though.
-
The way we will set up Terry being out is a massive blow, no doubt about that.
-
Sorry for the multiple posts but i'm just flicking back to that thread every now and then for a laugh. Yes, because any manager in their right mind would even think about playing that if such a situation arose McClean Cattermole Cabaye Sessegnon Imagine if that was the midfield we had to play in the final 3rd of the season. Jesus fucking Christ, man.
-
Well yeah, because unlike Tiote, Paul Scholes & Steven Gerrard cannot tackle
-
Stevenage is the only horror tackle I can remember Tiote doing, and the severity of that is debatable. Cattermole has actually calmed down a bit, i'm pretty sure he went through a period at Wigan when he seriously injured about 4 players in a few months (2 of them being our players).
-
They're so small time it's actually starting to get a little bit depressing, maybe it's just because The Cure was on when I read the thread I don't know but it really is just totally grim, everything about that forum, just grim. They've tried to openly rewrite history in an attempt to gain some small advantage with this whole Tiote is a puff/Cattermole had him shit scared shite; it was pretty pitiful a few days after the derby, nearly half a year on and it's just worrying. "After the last derby game, i know which one i would like standing next to me in the middle of the battle." "Cattermole is a throwback. He is a hardman who will take a big hit and get straight back up and give it back." This pretty much epitomises what they're all about at this current moment in time, if circumstances change then they will conveniently and hypocritically change also but at the moment they seem to be buying into some wind up account 'Mackemdom' bollocks.
-
If he was an average manager I would hate him tbh, but his arrogance is justified, the same with Mourinho (who seems to split peoples opinions 50/50). Ultimately he was a brilliantly character and brought a lot to the game.

What the fuck man "I was 20 before I realised I was retarded"

Russia to Qualify Germany 1st/Netherlands 2nd Spain to Win Group France/England to Qualify 17/1 -
I came into this thread expecting a joke about his hair turning yellow and green, I wasn't dissapointed. Really wish him luck though, without doubt one of my favourite people in football.

Glad the second bit was there.

Any particular reason?

Final Spain vs Germany. Germany to win. Top scorer Klose. Player to watch Ozil (Personally excited to see Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ben Arfa & Cabaye). How far will England go? Quarters/Group Stages (decided on goal difference). Most looking forward to The pub(s) been decent for a couple of weeks. Least looking forward to Slow motion, zoomed imagery of Frank Ribery, Mesut Ozil and James McClean. Best Hodgson moment Divnt care.

A proper hierarchy would let the manager pick who he wants.

Imagine the scent of the man.

Actually checking this out it seems like a really good 'game'. Would be perfect for someone like Dinho as the risk is far lower From what i've gathered you essentialy buy in between £2 & £15 and then have 20 days to make as much money as you can with the virtual cash (£100,000) which will then be converted into real money depending on how much you originaly staked. You can bet on anything that you would on the actual PaddyPower site too.
