I'll find it hilarious if they bring in rules which stop ANY sponsorship from owners other business's so we just end up getting sponsored by some Saudi state company. Considering the flap the Premier league have made about having legally binding arguments that the PIF are separate from the Saudi state.
There's always a kick in the nuts lurking just around the corner for us isn't there?
Other clubs just seem to cruise along with no hiccups. Then there's us...
Aye its would be great to actually watch us provide an attacking threat of some sort rather than all 11 of our players standing in our final 3rd just basically being behind the ball.
Well, the Premier league have told us they have the legal papers which prove PIF is separate from the Saudi state.
Its the Saudi state who 98% own aramco so as far as we're concerned we could be sponsored by them.
Just read a couple of pages of the thread about us on there. They all seem to be laughing at this report that we'll be spending 200 million over the next 3 years or something totally ignoring the fact that they could spend more if they wanted to. I think 200 million is a figure mentioned in 1 paper was what we could spend in January but it's been changed to over 3 years. Add a little bit of mackematics and it's apparently the same as what Mike Ashley would spend. Apparently.
