  1. We have to keep Dummett I reckon. Tiote can go though! There's no point selling Perez for big money at this stage because it'll just go to Ashley. There is no time to spend it on a replacement or any other hole in the squad, even if the will were there.

If he can play a major role in getting them promoted, he's worth 15m to them to stay. Probably what he won't do is sign another contract, or at least one without promotion clauses.
  3. That's what Madrid paid Monaco for James! What a massive gamble on such an untested player.
  4. I doubt they'd have sold to a Prem club, and perhaps he wouldn't have wanted to go, but 9M is an absolute steal for Chicharito.

In case anyone is worried about all the cards, we're actually only midtable when it comes to fouls committed as a team. The cards seem to be more of an individual thing than the way we are set up to play. Top of the league in fouls committed are Crystal Palace.
  6. Riviere got 10 for them the season before we bought him. 4th richest club in the world! 7th, 4th, dodgy signings and hoofball, and it doesn't matter, the commercial money just keeps on coming. Maybe all those fans in South East Asia aren't fickle glory hunters after all.
  7. I'm amazed that Southampton sold Jack Cork. They only got 5M or something stupid for him. Home grown Young but mature enough to play DM, a very difficult position to play well. Par has to be 10M.
  8. Rooney looking like the new Schevchenko or Torres, where you keep thinking he can't be as bad as this. He should have gone to Chelsea.
  9. Man U need a goal so both Mata and Herrera subbed. None of that tippy tappy nonsense for Man U.
  10. De Gea would have stopped that. Probably Valdez too.

Derby finished 1st and 4th in goals scored in his seasons there. So your opinion is wrong. Remind me again please what Derby done at the end of the season? Derby have four draws and a defeat since he left. They lost in the league cup too, so winless in six.
  12. The "King" is back! What a tool!
  13. Let's not forget that the biggest benefactory has actually been Pards whose lot conceded an overhead kick that was disallowed for "dangerous play" despite no contact with another player. So strikers aren't allowed to kick it inside the penalty area any more. That's what it's come to.
  14. I looked it up and Marinner only sent one player off in all of last season. Timing wise, I guess it must have been that case of mistaken identity for the poor ol' Arsenal. It was for a handball on the line as well, not dangerous play. Anyway, I find it hard to believe that Mitro's challenge would be the worst thing a referee's would see in a season's worth of games.
  15. My favourite outburst about refereeing came from Brenda when he said "We all know the big teams get the decisions. We're a big team, so why aren't we getting the decisions?!" 16. I had the match on and they played well. Chelsea are in a state at the moment and were poor against West Brom last week, but it's a great result for Palace all the same. It's only four games so let them have it. We won five in a row or whatever it was just last season before normality returned. Charlton, W Ham, Southampton and us all know what happens next. Let's see how their players perform when they have their first downturn and Pardew blames everyone but himself. Lets see how their fans feel about Bolasie not starting, or Conor Wickham or whatever, then.
  17. Them's the rules these days. Miss or overstep a dropping ball, which may be spinning, with the base of your foot and you're out for the best part of four games. I wonder what the approved method of trapping a dropping ball is. A method where you can miss and the result is not getting sent off. Any stretch to try and get it these days risks a red card. In terms of the advantage gained, it's minuscule compared to the straight red professional foul, which stops a goalscoring opportunity and only gets a one match ban.
  18. The 9 men of Stoke had 49% possession. 13 shots to 15. 6 corners to 5. Apparently the 9 committed only four fouls, while the 11 had nine.
  19. Palace vs. City next week so Pardew could go top! Seriously WTF!
  20. Pressure will be on. A big win and Man U could finish him off. They've only scored 2 in 4. At least we have mitigating factors.
  21. Another straight red card, Mark Ward for West Ham.
