  1. I guess it's tough to say the right thing after games like that but he just doesn't sound convincing at all does he. He just sounds lost with no idea how to get out of this, like he's going through the motions hoping something will happen.
  2. Dead man walking already, blimey
  3. I genuinely think me might walk actually
  4. Definitely getting relegated under Schteve
  5. He really will be shitting it now
  6. A bad loss in the derby would be the straw that breaks the camels back IMO
  7. I wouldn't actually be surprised and he'll cite differences of opinion with the board or something
  8. I have to say the more I see of him on the touchline and how desperate he looks and the stuff he comes out and says post match I get the feeling he's incapable of rescuing this situation. He's starting to remind me more and more of when Hodgson looked like he was having a stroke when we beat Liverpool. That's a good summing up. He just looks like he doesn't know to what to do worryingly and he seems to be having zero impact on the side.

  10. that'll keep the bums on seats EDIT: the best part is once we hit january and they release the stories about having the meeting "next week" to identify targets It's happened too many times. Here's a thought, how about as well as buying some "potential" in the summer as they have done you bring in some solid, proven signings who will do the job. You might then not have to panic buy in January because you realise you've fucked up........again. Buying proven quality while more expensive amazingly increases your chances of staying in the league and finishing much higher up thereby guaranteeing lots of £££££. Instead they refuse to pay a few extra million which is dwarfed by the potential earnings of a decent, productive, clinical side. Honestly the people running this club.
  11. Shows the utter folly of our lack of further defensive recruits. Taylor always injured, Colo questionable form (rubbish most of the time) and Mbemba new to the league.
  12. Did look pretty sparse in places on the highlights
  13. Doesn't matter now anyway, we need him to stay fit until January at which point he'll hopefully cease to exist. True, good point. Desperate for a quality centre half and left back to come in with a proven striker. It's definitely damage limitation until January to give ourselves a chance of staying up.
  14. Should've been replaced with proven quality but the cheap option was to hand him a year extension and "hope for the best". McClaren has backed himself into a corner by appointing him as captain because it's now extremely difficult to drop him at any point. We're it not for Taylor being so injury prone Coloccini should be dropped for a Mbemba/Taylor partnership.
  15. Little Mike is utterly clueless and irrespective of the ever present Ashley factor which will always exist, we lack knowledge, drive, decisiveness and a clear plan at board level. Ashley will never appoint a proper figure to run the club meaning we'll never truly progress.
  16. It's been fucking rubbsh so far in all facets of our play right through from defence to attack. What the fuck has he been doing in preseason ffs?
  17. Like Cisse, Tiote doesn't give two fucks. Doesn't want to be there
  18. Comfortably 7 probably more an 8. Proven quality (goals) needs to be bought in Jan to keep us up.
  19. Given he's meant to be a good coach, it's worry that we look so inept both going forward and at the back.
  20. Good quote from nufc.com which sums things up nicely: "There was a total lack of intensity, total lack of belief, total lack of organisation begging the question; what has McClaren actually brought to this side?"

    Papiss Cissé

Wanted a final big money move in the summer and basically isn't interested
  22. Not convinced by him so far and starting to get bored by his speak already His credentials are questionable and our squad is weak = painful road ahead
  23. I was expecting a draw but wouldn't have been surprised by a defeat. It was the manner of the performance though, completely abstract and inept.
