  1. We've been shite, the formation has looked all over the shop and they need to turn in a proper display on saturday whatever the team is re injuries. No fucking about this weekend..........but as someone said above if we turn in another 'ammers performance (god forbid we lose) questions will have to asked.
  2. Massive over-reliance on him and he's coming from far too deep at the moment. Frustrating (this situation not because he's playing badly)
  3. Skirge, ofcourse it's ridiculous that we still don't have video replay for incidents like this but we just have to deal with it. Because we don't have the option for review it wasn't this decision which changed the game. Our play going forward was atrocious the whole match, that's what cost us in the end.
  4. Most of the stale symptoms of the team at present are down to lack of investment in the team in summer from "Dekka" and Ashley. We did wonders to finish 5th but they took a chance and hoped we replicate that kind of form this season. So far this "approach" has proved completely fool hardy. We had a chance to kick on and didn't take it.
  5. Looked nothing more than an average player to me. I'm not even fussed about the lad anymore............he had it all here playing in front of the Gallowgate in the number 9 shirt but for £££ and other reasons he's lost that and he may live to regret it for the rest of his playing career.
  6. Just back from the match, dear oh dear that was awful. Formation was all over the shop, completely devoid of ideas going forward in attack. Lets hope this serves to wake us and Pardew up a bit, christ we cant go on like this ffs. Shite and especially annoying as they didn;t really do anything
  7. We can't play a 442 without him. Without him the system is redundant
  8. Met my West Ham mates last night for a couple of pints/food. The general consensus from them was that if we start well and score first and play like we can it could be a long afternoon for them but if it gets a bit edgy with no score after 25-30 mins and we get frustrated that'll be ideal for them and it'll be much, much tighter possibly going in their favour.
  9. Don't like Chelsea but I hope they turn Liverpool over tomorrow
  10. Which is why we need to get the ball down and play and negate Nolan because of his lack of pace. If it becomes and edgy match where Nolan is constantly searching for knockdowns and running into positions in the box then we're in trouble imo. If Cabaye pushes on a bit like against Liverpool and we get good movement from Cisse/Ba then we can cause them plenty of problems in defence. Need to be a bit more expansive than just give it to HBA and hope he creates something. Get some movement going lads. Would love to see Cisse rifle one into the net it really would go a long way to lifting our play
  11. I watched the first 4-3 loss to Liverpool in what was then Inventions before it was Bar Oz
  12. I'll be with them mate, it's fucking shite in there agreed. Crows nest opposite Haymarket is decent
  13. What is strange is how we often sit back on a lead even at home. Against Norwich we started defending a 1-0 in the 2nd half which was massivel frustrating. Need to drive it home against West Ham if we go in front.
  14. Picked a ticket up from the box office today, south west corner and last ticket going. Lady said it's heading for a sell out. Massively revved up for this which probably means it'll be a drab 1-1 No I think it'll be a good match this, plenty of players with plenty to prove. Ba apparently fit to play too. Got a couple of West Ham mates up, which pubs in town (if any) are away fan friendly? Shearer's maybe? Not sure if they're wearing colours.
  15. Goals or no goals there was a lot more to his play against Liverpool. The likes of Coloccini struggled in this league to begin with, so did the likes of Evra and Vidic at Man U. Takes time to adjust, hopefully he's just starting to show what he can do.
  16. Good summing up above there, that's pretty bang on. Ben Arfa seems to operate better as part of a front 3 in that little pocket to the right. In a 4-4-2 he's just looked far too isolated and ends up attacking from too deep as mentioned above. If we get the formation right and start well their defence is there to be attacked. Lets respect the likes of Nolan's knack for scoring ofcourse but at home we should really be able to run them al over with Cabaye/HBA/Ba etc. I agree I can see them scoring so we'll probably have to bag a couple of goals.
  17. Going to call by the stadium tomorrow afternoon to check the ticket situation, might well go to this. Got a couple of West Ham mates up for this, which pubs are away fan friendly? To be fair it's hardly like they're going to be throwing their weight around and I'm not even sure if they're wearing colours.
  18. Krul Simpson Saylor Williamson Santon Anita Cabaye Jonas HBA Ba Cisse I still think with a midfield 3 of Jonas, Cabaye and Anita in midfield and HBA doing his thing we can really take the game to them. If Ba plays then we have someone to put the chances away. Things would be made a lot easier of Cisse started to look like a threatening striker again.
  19. Very rusty but I suppose its to be expected. Clearly has the technical skills just needs the consistency to get to the level he was at before he got injured last time.
  20. Dull, poor in possession giving it away far too easily (Obertan/Marveaux) and nothing in the final 3rd. Still it wasn't a full first 11 so not bad I suppose. Need go go hell for leather on sunday though, very winnable match but tough at the same time.
