We lack options to break teams down and goals have been an issue so far this season. Even with the re-emergence of the Joe and Joe combo it’s a position that has to be addressed for me.

I think a RW this January if we could get one could make all the difference. We’ve found more balance in the last few games but having another genuine goal threat and being able to have Gordon right or left too would take us up another notch.

Totally agree, we have to back up that win against Arsenal with a performance at Forest. I’d love a win, would take a point but it’s more about how we perform. At least the players will be going into this full of confidence.

I think what this week shows is football can change quickly and fans can lose perspective a bit too quickly. We have a really tough match against Forest away but we’ll go there really confident I think and can give them loads Of problems.

Most exciting thing for me is Hall and Tino, both brilliant and brilliant prospects. Hall is really coming into his own now. The team/squad just needs some more pace at centre half and another RW and we can have a really strong second half of the season.

Yeah we won’t have the money to replace him in Jan as well go for a RW unless he’s moved on (highly unlikely) so we’ll probably keep hold of him until the end of the season and hope we can get some use out of him.

Arsenal are an excellent team but they’re 5 points behind City and 4 points behind Pool so they can’t afford to drop more points really (particularly as City go to Bournemouth and Pool have a Brighton at home). There will be pressure on them and they won’t be looking forward to the fixture. It’s definitely going to be niggly lol

I think that’s true to an extent and Ratcliffe has a whiff of Ashley about him in terms of pissing loads of people off. Ashworth and Barrera will slowly start to have an effect I think though and Ten Hag was clearly never up to it ability wise. Amorim appears to be a talented manager but they’re going to have to start getting their recruitment right.

Surely Mitchel must have come contacts for players on the continent in the 30m range. Other clubs do it, we’ve done it before. Mbuemo would be a great signing in one sense but he’d cost an absolute fortune in January ffs I can’t believe that things are so tight again that if we buy anyone in Jan we “have” to sell in the summer. I’ve always thought Bruno might benefit from a pacey 6 so he can focus more on influencing play further upfield and is less likely to have his lack of pace exposed.
