You'd think Mitchel with his contacts would be ideal for the upcoming January situation. We obviously don’t know exactly what Howe thinks/wants but he might have to be persuaded to veer away from prem ready players because of the likely nightmarish negotiation and costs going for prem players. If we’re still going with Murphy down the right and Wilson crocked playing the odd game you can probably kiss Europe goodbye imo.

I agree with you that Jan is tougher to sign players but we don’t really have a choice. Forward line is desperately in need of upgrading and it needs sorting because there’s still loads of opportunity this season. With the right signings we can have a really strong second half of the season. As you say it will be interesting to see what they do with the money they have. They might have to go to the continent and roll the dice a bit?

Club needs a massive shot in the arm this Jan, no fucking about. Hopefully Murphy consigned to the bench when a new RW comes in and ideally a striker too. Pressure on as the season could drift away.

The team has been essentially become a bit stale. We’ve been desperate for additions to the front line but haven’t had any and it’s all become a bit predictable. That coupled with Wilson being a crock is having a massive negative impact. We’re crying out for additional options.

Fair doos, Gordon should score with a header though. The lack of RW creativity and goals on the right is killing us. If we had a decent RW that would at least spread the play a bit and create more space even if we don’t have a number 10 type player.

Isak should score first half and there were plenty of others but that’s football. If you don’t stick changes away teams can always stick it to you. I was listening to the Geordie journos and I think they’re right saying that the team has gone stale particularly going forward.

Id be very surprised if he was removed before or during Jan unless it completely collapses. I do have some concerns over style of play and stubbornness over moving some players on. Equally however it hunk if we were able to spend he would’ve brought in the players to kick us on further. The clubs current malaise goes wider than just Howe though, the PSR situation and the transfer window really has knackered us. I wouldn’t be “that” surprised if this is Howe’s last season however.

He’s right in the sense it’s all a bit bit and miss at the moment and feels a bit directionless but I don’t think that’s just down to Howe.

Id like to see Osula start to get more minutes though. I mean it can’t hurt to give him 15-20 mins at the end of a game as he’s fast and strong and there’s no other striking option behind Isak.
