Be disappointed if Tonali doesnāt start. Barnes has to surely. If reckon heāll be Gordon up front with Barnes left and Murphy right. -

Surely Osula will get some minutes today (and against Wimbledon) if Isak is out and given Wilson is out too. He might be a bit raw but he started multiple games in the prem for Sheffield Utd so heās not THAT raw. -
Is he out of contract after this season? Surely weāll let him go and not renew? Just cannot be relied on to stay fit sadly.

Im guessing this. No harm throwing the young lad on for 20 mins either. -

We seem to have a knack of staying in games at the moment and nicking games with a bit of quality. Our general play has to improve though as weāll come unstuck eventually and it seems like Howe isnāt full sure of his first 11 yet (see RW and LB). On a positive note weāve got several levels to go up in terms of quality. I hope he starts Barnes and Tonali in this one though. I also think heāll go with Kelly at LB. -
Yeah I donāt think he was particularly at fault, it was more of a collective thing. Burn was class at times but also looked cumbersome at times. We looked far too easy to play through at times in general.

Can he not give Osula a run out and move Gordon to the right? -

We looked sharper in the easily stages but pretty poor thereafter -

Started sharper but soft touch defensively, no right side, Isak isolated. Not great really. Barnes and Tonali second half -

Soft touch away from home far too often -
I get the argument but Iām sure Howe has looked at the reasons for and against starting him fitness wise with all the data and all that malarkey. Managing fitness early on can be crucial too, say Tonali starts and picks up an injury etc. Just playing devils advocat, I donāt know whatās best but then Iām not managing the team š¤·āāļø

Spurs really donāt look all that at all
-
Canāt defend got for toffee and the manager showing no signs he knows how to do that. Awful from set pieces
-
Howe doesnāt usually drop players after a win. I get bringing Schar in as it helps out overall play, no issue with Hall playing if he wants to push the attack more. Iād like to see Tonali play but it could be managing minutes as heās not played loads of football and has played 2 games in the last week already š¤·āāļø I think Tonali will be starting soon enough fwiw, definitely by City fixture.
