It's fascinating to see the people that were slating the premier league as not fit for purpose, being corrupt and in the pocket of the top six etc now saying "well if the premier league says it's not Saudi Arabia buying us but a company then that'll do for me" You can be ok about it, not ok about it and every variation in between but the hypocrisy around the comments saying if the government do business with them, if the premier league say it's fine from people is wrong. Imagine being Rashford and seeing the shit player's like Sterling have taken, hearing all the complaints of footballers being selfish and obsessed with bling. Not caring, forgetting their roots, not respecting the fans who pay their wages etc and going on to campaign for poor families who are struggling to feed their children, amongst lots of other amazing things and then an arsehole says "penalties not politics" and you don't just burn the world to the ground but still manage to be articulate, passionate and apologetic for kicking a ball wrong. Fucking hell. I mean seriously how do you do that? How do you just not loose your shit at the insanity of people holding a grudge because you made sure poor children got fed? Also aware of the longest sentence ever but had to rant.

Have to trust that Southgate will learn fr what happened. He made mistakes with not adapting to Italy quicker and not trying to win the game in second half/extra time. But he's done so much to improve everything around the team, unite the player's and taken us further than we've been in decades.
