I'm annoyed Barnes is on the bench again but it's kind of no surprise now a days

'Extraordinary' is doing a lot of heavy lifting here

I thought Eddie was very measured in what he said in the press conference in relation to Sandro when asked about questions around him being 'offered' to a club/clubs. He didn't deny it, he said Sandro is happy and that he doesn't know everything that goes on. So to me, kind of seems that it may have some truth.

I'm really looking forward to this one! Think we will get a result and set up a final with Arsenal! 👀

I think how desperate we were for him to come back and actually have what seemed to be a 'proven PL goalscorer' back in the mix to take the pressure off Woltemade, has made his performances even more disappointing. He has had a bad injury but there's nothing so far which has been overly exciting about him in my opinion. Just seems to go through the motions jogging about chewing gum with a fairly chilled attitude. He has scored a few goals but none of them have actualyl been of much quality, in fact pretty much the opposite. Add in the crazy transfer fee and with each performance it raises more eyebrows.

Yeh I agree, it's more frustrating more than anything that he can produce a performance like that against PSG but other times we have seen him he has been pretty average, it's mad.

Best game for us by a country mile. Really impressed with his performance tonight.

Got to say when I saw the line-up and formation I thought we were in for a hiding and the opening stages did nothing to make me think differently. But my days, hats off to the players and staff, that was a gutsy, very good performance, we took it to them and if we were a bit more clinical we could have come away with a win. Fair lay to them.
