As much as I really dislike the way Liverpool, Isak and the media have played this, and I am fully aware of his ability, he simply has to be sold for the right deal. Other players will 100% be losing patience with him and how much they respect him and like him will be on the constant slide in my opinion. Same with staff no doubt. The fans will turn on him for his actions, and he cannot really not 'get that' given the way things have gone. Him staying in my opinion, is a complete non-starter. You cannot have players who have behaved like that, around the camp, and try to have a harmonious atmosphere, based on a team which are all willing to pull in the same direction. It just seems a HUGE contradiction.

I was going to say similar the other day but bottled it as thought I would get pelters I don't know what it is, maybe it is a bit of ego, or stubbornness, or something else, but I DO believe we could have and should have been looking at a wider pool of players, which potentially, rightly or wrongly, Howe doesn't 100% approve of. I do think there needs to be a tad more flexibility in general on the transfer front, and I'm not including signing 18 year old 'potential stars' as covering that flexibility. There just doesn't seem to be much in the way of innovation or other potential routes taken with our 'scouting' approach (if you can even call it that).

Honestly, what are we doing? I never thought given our ambition, owners and CL participation this coming season, that we would be failing so badly on the transfer front and seeing the likes of Jackson & Ramsdale potential signings, this is becoming a joke very quickly. Genuinely cannot get my head around what is happening with us.
