Really, the first choice pairing (stevo and colo) are good enough for atleast a top 5 finish. With a midfield trio working hard (jonas, tiote, cabaye) infront. Very little will get through that. Stevo offers great strength in the air(moreso then willo after this weekend atleast). And I'm totally confident when we had them back there. Would much rather have a better cheaper option as a wrecker and an up and comming CB aswell. More importantly, we need a left back. Santon is way too one footed to play leftie imo.

Thing really is, Everton have put them self in a peculiar position where they got players on quite good wages. Wich makes transfers into the club quite difficult. They have stagnated at the top of their bracket for some time. And haven't really developed in the past few years. And we are, as many have seen allready, started bursting into the scene. Could see quite a few players wanting to be a part of it.

A CB is probably on the agenda. But if special circumstances arise with a player they have followed for a long time (Cissé), then they probably will go and get him. As seems like the policy of the club is.

Unlikely, the offer already on the table has a modest pay increase. Would the club go on to increase a wage allready 40% over the wage cap? Might be estimated bonuses etc. that is, if he's on the reported 80/90k/week.

Would give obertan atleast one more year to fulfill his potential. He was a highly regarded youngster, and time is still on his side. However I don't think we can get rid of anyone in the squad atm. bar smith and xisco. Wich are terrible excuses of footballers. What we need to do is add a fullback and more talents to fill the squad. Get them playing in the cup competitions and here and there in the league for developement.

Perch to me allways looked like a player full of energy. And I do think he relish his opportunities playing against the likes of manchester united and such. He is cheap on wages and an ok late gamekiller sub. Nothing more, but tbf I do think we need those kind of players.
