This sort of stuff is amusing as well. We're simply discussing his comments, no-one pores, trawls or dissects. He says stuff, it's very easy to get access to it, we talk about it because he's the manager of the club. It's hardly Wikileaks. If the interview was 5 minutes long and Pardew is negative for 30 seconds of it, be sure enough, we would be talking about that the 30 seconds and not the other 4 minutes 30 where he is generally positive.
  2. Pardew isn't far wrong when he talks about one extreme to another with our fans after a good win

It doesn't matter what people are willing to say, the Pardew supporters are obvious to everyone. Clearly a dig in my sort of direction. I can see why people like you may think i support Pardew (not that i do). I defend him a lot more than others and it's basically because i think he gets his fair share of unfair criticism on here. Yes he does deserve the vast majority of it however there is still a lot who literally pick a fault at anything they can find with him even if we win. If we play well, players get the credit, if we play badly the manager gets the criticism, it needs to balance out slightly somewhere along the line but it rarely does. Even though i don't think he's a very good manager if i feel someone is being slightly harsh towards him, i don't mind defending him. That goes for the players as well though. There's one or two who have come in for a lot of criticism but don't get the praise they deserve when they do put a shift in.
  4. No one keeps clean sheets. I'm loaded with Spurs defenders so i'm expecting another one from this week
  5. I've joined you in this negative tactic, from 3 at the back all season to 5 at the back
  6. Michu out, Oscar in. Just got into the top 100 last week, top 50 next goal.

On a serious not though, i can't say i'm more of a supporter of him than the majority. I'm not one to hate on him and starting thinking 'If' we lose here or there he will be gone and that's fine because it's for the greater good and all that tosh. I just think he's just a bog standard manager similar to Hughton who probably should be managing a side in the league below. Difference is Pardew has the luxury of having a very good group of players at his disposal and i still think he can do a decent job with them. I fancy him to get us top 8 but more of a bumpy ride than it would be if we had a top a manager in charge. Pardew or anyone else, we still wouldn't be beating Liverpool to 6th spot though, we would just be more competitive.

He doesn't use it every other week along with a flurry of other such bullshit though which is sort of the point. All managers talk s***, all make us excuses, very few do it almost every time they open their mouth. So he thought Swansea were good in the derby but only got done by a set piece at the weekend then blames tiredness midweek after another poor result. I'm only using Laudrup because i've watched Swansea in their last two games and heard Laudrup back them even though they've been poor in both but he hasn't once criticised anybody or took any blame himself. Majority of managers will look to make excuses and defend their players. It's nothing new. Yes the odd few flamboyant ones like Jose will have a bit of a slaughter but rarely do you see other managers tell it exactly like it is. Swansea didn't hoof it from the first whistle and make me want to vomit with the pathetic attempts at fooball, like we did last season though. Wasn't really me point like, but aye i'll give you our football was atrocious last season compared to Swansea. Doesn't take away from the fact they have a manager who refuses to take responsibility for results and looks to defend his players. Not that there is anything wrong with this, majority of managers do it. Just becomes accepted to an extent. Like Moyes slating Ashley Young’s diving when Everton manager, suddenly Young’s his player and he backs him up in the diving dispute. Tbh Bimpy, actually agree with your post previously where you mention not really paying much attention to what Pardew has to say in interviews before or after. Sort of do the same myself until the likes of ‘this is for Mike’ comes out which is only fair to be disgusted by. Dissecting every word of every interview for something he’s said which is wrong will just send you mad. The last I seen of him he said ‘We played our best football at Sunderland’, everyone knows it’s a load of shit, even he does but he’s just trying to gloss over a poor result.

Laudrup mentioned tiredness for the reason they conceded late last night A manager using the word tiredness for his players, shocking stuff.

When he speaks on a positive note, he gets this sort of stuff fired at him? Either way people will have a go at him for whatever he comes out with.

And when he said he thought we had a good chance of beating Chelsea, he was called a fruit loop or something? Works both ways. Laugh at his positivity, criticise his negativity. Every week without fail. Dissect his interviews all you like to find something but it’s just embarrassing really. Yes he does come out with a lot of shite but most managers do tbf.
  13. Neither are them are the answer as we all know, but this moment in time even if Taylor was fit, you'd have to keep Willo in the side ahead of him. He's hardly put a foot wrong bar his air kick at Cardiff. Also the fact he hasn't even had a stable CB partner makes his form even better, he's adapted to each player put alongside him and that's a big positive.
  14. I want to know who mama is now, 'you've been baaaaaaad'.
  15. Thanks ...Although you may start riots with opinions like that
  16. I don't hate the bloke, he's a nice man, i just don't think he's very good and gets built up massively here. I'm certainly not blaming him alone for RVW not scoring goals. It's the Norwich side which is making life difficult for RVW to adapt because he's not been given the service and Hughton should be looking to change this. He went 4-4-2 away Spurs, think Elmander was up top with him, neither of them hardly got a kick of the ball because Spurs just completely out ran them. He's not playing to the strengths of RVW when he should be building his side around him. Strikers do need time to adapt to a new league but i can't see RVW doing very well in that side at all and it's not because he hasn't adapted, it's just the side he's in isn't good enough. I’d still love him here and a poor start with Norwich hasn’t put me off his ability.

It was worrying, no doubt, still is in fact. They were absolutely terrible and we couldn't break them down. I still think we have a lot to prove on that front, Norwich/West Brom in a couple of weeks will give us a better indication to see if we have improved in this area as it's hard to tell with two home games against City/Chelsea as neither of them were content with sitting back. Hughton will set up camp and it will be down to us to break them down, it's a big test for our creativity as a side.
  18. Yeah Hughton is the reason. Maybe Pardew is the reason Cisse can't score to save his life as well? If you want to watch over Norwich and show me the chances RVW is missing i'm happy to agree he’s lost it. The fact he's not getting the service to match his needs is the problem. Even the only goal he has scored to date was a half chance at best and he's pulled off a phenomenal header. I've seen nothing of him to suggest he's lost all ability since his flight over to England, i just don't think Norwich is the club he should be at. A lot of people wanted him here. He starts off poor so now it’s a good dodge? Suppose Bony is a good dodge as well? Yet Caulker who hardly anybody even batted an eye lid over has a good start to the season and suddenly we have missed out and should have signed him?
  19. Cheers, thought there was more than just his fist pumps to why i don't want to see Taylor play for us again
  20. I'd still love RVW, i'm taking nothing away from his ability when he's got Hughton and a poor Norwich side giving him support. Serves him right for choosing that move in the first place like, awful career move.
