Just can't see it happening in the slightest considering Pardew has always known of Ben Arfa's lack of defensive ability, he would have been out the team a long time ago if he always judged him on this. One poor defensive game and he's out the side completely, not for me like . He had a poor offensive game. Look at the first goal et tell me if he was in position to put a "tackle" ( ) or track back. Offensively he was still looking our brightest spark, fair enough he lost the ball a few times but at least he was having a go at them unlike some. However he allowed Coleman to drive on past on a couple of occasions and Mirallas and Coleman were looking a threat for the full 45 minutes whilst Baines was contained to an extent with Gouffran on other side.
