Murphy, bit different but needs to be counted too
-
Man U have looked awful in 80%+ of their games. I imagine that’s the main factor for why people are on his back
-
I imagine we’re being particularly cautious after multiple players keep breaking down after returning, Murphy, Willock, Isak etc
-
I think for his age he looked very good. Sure, he wasn’t on Tino’s level but the Chelsea fans were absolutely gutted that he was leaving which normally tells you a lot. I still think he looks like a very good player but maybe it’s that Howe isn’t sure about how to get the most out of him, like @r0cafella says. I think attitude is massive for Howe and I wonder whether something’s been lacking there as I don’t think he’d come out with these quotes if Hall was putting absolutely everything in but that’s just mindless speculation on my part
-
Extremely bizarre this in fairness. He’s obviously not been taken away by Hall either in his performances or training. He looked an amazing prospect for Chelsea and I’d have expected him to develop really well under Howe. Something’s clearly off
-
Never seen someone with his technical ability also see it matched by a quicksand affliction when moving with the ball
-
If that’s the reason, that’s an insane rule. For penalties I think there’s some logic behind it. For free kicks that’s just mental

Nailed on defeat? Baffled by any fan coming out with this

3 goals, 5 assists and these minutes are very strong for a new signing to the league. he’s also looked class in the games I’ve seen him https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/moussa-diaby/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/395516/saison/2023/wettbewerb/GB1/verein/405

I think we will become more of a possession team as the quality of our players continues to improve but I don’t think Howe’s approach is to stifle the opposition through complete control of the ball like Pep. I think he wants us to move the ball quickly and positively, and terrify the opposition by attacking directly
-
Bit shit that the club most similar to us in terms of where they’re going went for Diaby and he’s looked great
-
Aye, diabolical defending positionally, must have just switched off
-
How many years has this weirdo lived in the UK now?
-
what’s the point man. “Respect us, you have to respect us but while you’re doing it, please treat us like dirty pieces of shit”
-
The window was a major success if only because we got Tino who’s world class. Barnes had a freak injury, Tonali has really screwed us but how could we have known. Neither of those could have been anticipated and I’m sure they’ll both come back strong. Hall remains a mystery
-
They’re now specialists in overpaying only
-
At least we’ve got Asim Chaudhry in the mix too

Should definitely have an overreactions thread and if people spill too much in individual threads they’re forced to only post in the overreactions thread for a day

what a clown. Probably as bad faith a summation of the situation as anyone could possibly pull out of their arse
-
He’s got a nice delivery on his right foot. Way better than Miggy obviously. Was nice to see someone whipping the ball in from deep across the face of goal as Trippier often doesn’t whip crosses in that deep
-
No one’s questioning his ability, he’s world class. He’s my favourite player along with Joelinton. However, if you watched him off the ball, he was trotting about like a hobbled horse

Was fair throughout, managed the game really well. Could have got cards out earlier against them but in the end it was fair enough
