don't think you can judge him on that tbf. Give him 1, 2 or 3 starts in a row! Cisse is not the type of player who makes a great sub, i think. He needs confident (like many other strikers) obviously - he will only gain that by being trusted.
He started the first 5 games of the season like.
Lead to believe that referee schedules come out weeks in advance. Is this a case of Jones not having a scheduled week rather than being officially dropped? Iirc when they do drop refs, the offender usually has to officiate a lower league match.
Scant consolation anyway. He'll still come up with those terrible calls in future.

Same top?
Edit: Same cap too I think.
Siem de Jong is a very good player, easily the best of the two. As for Luuk, the jury is still out on him, but he's youngish and worth a gamble imho.
Isn't Siem more of an attacking midfielder? What's his game like?
Only possibility is to get rid of his wages for 5 months. He's definitely not going to make the WC squad.
I would rather it be a permanent deal. If he comes back with a serious injury, we could be burdened with him for the remaining year.
.... phew.. won't be scoring the winner against us then....
That's if the deal is set up correctly of course (Lua Lua)
You cant play against you own club at all. Been like that for ages
Is that a rule, or is it something that could be left out?
It's a rule.
So the ref standing 10 yards away had a clear unobstructed view of the incident consulted the lino whose view of the ball was blocked by Gouffran. Lino in turn fired the question on whether Gouffran had a touch back to Jones who on thinking back decided it had indeed been so and ruled out the goal?
He doesn't even have to be a 1 goal in 2 scorer. As long as he can balance our tactics better by holding up the ball and freeing the likes of Remy to inflict damage, he would have done well.
Debuchy's upturn in form coincided with Ben Arfa's absence from the team. It somehow impressed that having Sissoko cover for Debuchy's runs got the best out of the latter. When Ben Arfa subsequently came back into the team he had to play mostly on the left wing where he's less effective.
Beggars belief how you give 10, 20 mins to a player each time and people expect him to create something in that short span each time. Every wrong decision or poor pass gets amplified ten times over.
Spot on, he's obviously meant to bring him down but I very doubt he's tried to 'do' him otherwise he wouldn't have needed 3 go's at it.
I was surprised he took so long staying down and that he was time-wasting. The tackle wasn't that bad to cause that kind of injury.
