http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-could-face-keeper-2596558 Fwiw those 2 conceded by Elliot were very good goals. Doubt Krul would have made much of a difference to the scoreline considering 'we was tired'.

    A no-brainer really.

Yup. On paper those quotes are the right thing to do. Just fear it's all empty words.

He better get us another 4points. He probably will end this season on some sort of magical run and everything will be forgotten... I'm praying for 'moments of magic' in our last few games. Can't see us getting any points otherwise with our disjointed performances. HBA or cisse wonder goals, right out of pards playbook Sad it has to come to this to secure our survival.

  6. Yeah - at least it would be entertaining! Would be interesting to see what attacking coaches like that could do with our players. Continuing the football 'hipster' trend - the other option would be Dragan Stojkovic. Is he the one Wenger wanted as successor? Manager of some J-League club I think. Edit: http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/876897/arsene-wenger-lines-up-dragan-stojkovic-as-arsenal-successor?cc=4716
  7. Think he's leaving at the end of season. Lost the squad in his 2nd season. If there is one manager more confrontational than Rafa...
  8. I'll imagine he fancy being paid 10k a week. I know it's Ashley but their could be some middle ground found from both parties. More hope than anything this tbh. Personally can't see any middle ground due to his wages and budget demands as well as the confrontational approach he has. Do hope we manage to find a solution to Pardew in the near future though. Just want to enjoy watching the team play again.

  10. Didn't he apparently refuse to come as a principle of Hughton's sacking? Can't see him changing that stand any time soon when Ashley's still here.
  11. Not a foul for me. He was aiming for the balls.
  12. Plus willing to be Ashley's and Llambias' lapdog basically. Don't think those points are far off from their recruitment perspective. After Keegan left, that was our typical managerial profile. If we don't evolve from those limitations now that the club is better run player-wise and in the financial sense, we will be hard-pressed to find the proper fit of a manager.
  13. Think it's also some 20, 30 years since we've failed to score in a Tyne-Wear derby.

Mental how many times this season we think we are safe only to come back into the mix.

He said to Mick Lowes that some of our players were knackered after Thursday and Lowes said we had 5 players in the team who hadn't played, Pardew said the 5 weren't up to speed. Wow. Just wow.
  19. Was a dive for their FK leading to the injury too, with Sean Massey staring right at it.
  20. Somebody who isn't shit scared of the opposition nearly every match.
  21. Geordie lad scores. Really need Man U to win this.

Only consolation is at by the end of his contract we will look and play like a team again.
