Coloccini attends training at arsenal. Is how I read the thread title.

Agreed. Sissoko would make a massive difference to us, especially if we aren't looking at bringing in a true replacement for Ba during this window. As much fun as it is having all these signings come in at once, the only one I think will make an immediate difference is Mapou. Granted, Gouffran is an upgrade on Ameobi, but personally i'm not expecting too much. Haïdara (when he signs) is most likely back up for Santon so I can't see him being thrown in to the first team straight away. That's not to say i'm not as pleased as most on here, far from it. I just that we need that little bit extra bit of raw quality to reinforce our chances of staying up.

And it was all going so well. Thought we were done with all this 'will he, won't he' speculation bullshit after Demba left. Now we get Colo fucking us around. His silence speaks volumes by the way. Poor show.

Yanga-Mbiwa sounds really impressive. 'On the ball he is very confident. He has the ability to bring it out of defence and push forward with the look of a defensive midfielder - almost Patrick Vieira-esque.' . Just got to hope he's paired alongside Colo come the end of the transfer window.

On next I think... Bollocks, missed it it will probably be on their website before long Ta. He seems seems very positive on all of them reading off his twitter page. 'Very good signings for me, especially at that price. It's a great coup' 'Haidara, Mou. Sissoko and Yanga Mbiwa all done (or almost) to Newcastle. 3 young v promising players for not a lot of money. Good business'

Moussa Sissoko, Massadio Haidara and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa are on track to join the Magpies this winter.

It's fine. At least we have 16 days, 6 hours and 12 minutes to sign players from clubs who are likely to need time to sign players to replace the players we sign.

This is one of the many reasons Ben Arfas return can't come soon enough. Not just for his goals/assists but for the sheer unpredictability he brings us. He'll help create those spaces again, kick us back into form. Worrying thought though, relying on a 'player' coming back to get us playing well again. All speculation though I guess.

Think the fact the every team we play against right now seems to do it without any real fear. We look like a team, other teams expect to gain three points from making it so much harder for us to rediscover our form. At any level of football it's difficult to find your rythm when your opponents are pressing you all over the pitch. We need to hammer a team, score 3+ without reply. Give the next team/manager something to worry about again.

Ahhh, missed that.

Was sure I heard on a Talk sport news report this morning that Carroll had been told he had 'no future' at Liverpool.
