Don't know why but i randomly remembered Shankleys legendary quote about the 'only 2 clubs in Liverpool'. Sounds like Raffa is from the same mould. Should be fun.

You a Carpenter?

Aye but juggernauts crash big, we've seen it all before. What's your point, Mick? Everything turns to s*** with us, it's the way it is. If this appointment had been made when Raffa left Madrird we would be comfortably mid table. As it is i suspect it's too late and he will be off to pastures new soon enough. I hope i'm wrong but this has been nearly a 50 year theme during my career as a Newcastle fan. Better late than never. Of course. If we stay up happy times lie ahead.

Some idiot on RTG- West Ham to Sunderland perhaps?

I'm trying to rationalise my sudden love for NUFC again with the other half that's basically never seen it. She won't let me tell her Rafa is. Just send her sly texts from across the room with "Random Rafa Rabble"... Useful stats on Rafa Benitez. It's what I've been doing with mine since Monday. Not a bad idea. I explained this to my wife the other day. Her response: "why do you do this? don't get your hopes up, it won't end well." My wife got converted a couple of years ago. Now i say those things to her!

Had to turn over. If i could spell nauseating that's the word i would use.

The page is an absolute mess. But this one made me chuckle Should be censored for the spelling and grammar, let alone the content.

Probably me. Life just wouldn't be worth living.

Most of our players are fools, wouldn't be able to put a tean out.

Yep, felt utmost respect for and connection with him. If you want to see someone spectacularly fail to suppress their rage at the latest debacle check-out True Geordie's reaction on You Tube. 6 minutes 40 seconds before taking a breath!!! I thought i could swear but that fucking cunt can swear for fucking England! Fucking twat. He's right about everything though.

Aye, just like the old days!

How ill does it make you cheering a Liverpool goal? Felt dirty too.

The situation is almost hopeless. I don't see how anyone's reputation could be tarnished by giving it a go especially if they at least come close to saving us. Don't forget these people tend to have an unshakable belief in their own ability. Just look at our last two managers for proof of that. We should at least try. Even Mourinho would take 5 million for 3 months work. I mean why wouldn't you?
-
500k per win and a £5m bonus for keeping us up, I'm sure he'd be tempted. This for barely three months work, of course he would come. There's fat chance of Billy Smart stumping up that kind of cash though even if it is the only sensible solution to our predicament.

There was a seething rage inside Shearer on MOTD that he was trying desperately to suppress. Legend.

You're giving our owner too much credit here.

McClaren was probably right to go for the more proven Riviere while it was still 0-0 tbf. Better to be safe than sorry. I'm concerned about your idea of 'proven'. You need to elaborate. Riviere has that vital season's experience of fluffing chances in the premier. Doumbia with his dodgy CL pedigree abroad might have been too much of a risk. Excellent, thought you were going bonkers for a moment.

This is the only sane conclusion.
