I'd happily see them "do a Portsmouth/Charlton" and never return to the top two divisions for years.
-
I see tonight as a must not lose, not a must win. Saturday is the big one where I think we need the 3 points.
-
Tonight's teams to avoid: Newcastle 21/10, Villa 21/20, Bolton 11/10, Lincoln-1 8/5, Juventus 8/13 Doubles, trebles, 4 folds and an accy.

Generally speaking Paully, how much do you reckon you've won per month since the season begun? All I ever see is winning slips of large amounts of £££. Assuming you don't win them all, but you must be a good few grand up at least?
-
Why didn't I copy Paully?

So close again! Be typical of Man Utd to grab an underserved winner.
-
Gabbiadini reminds me a bit like Cisse when he first joined us. Don't think he will fade and turn shit, though! Great finish. Hope he gets a hat trick and scores the winner.

We've been shite at home for weeks if not months so we can't say this was not coming. Rafa needs to sort his home tactics out before it's too late. So predictable and boring.

Sorry everybody. NUFC -1 6/4 NUFC -2 4/1 NUFC -3 11/1

Don't fancy a bet today but since you've posted that, it'd be daft not to copy you..

I'd rather just see it in one stand if I'm honest. A bit like Liverpool only have the Kop, Dortmund yellow wall etc. Having it at both ends of the ground would take a lot of work, a lot of extra money and the chances are it'd be spread out and not look as 'full' with flags and banners. As it is, the opposition will see it and hopefully play on their minds thinking "shit, we've got to attack that soon". -

Hopefully Pardew goes there and relegates them along with Palace and Sunderland!
-
Leeds are behind Sheffield Wed as it stands.. Hopefully they carry on failing and finish outside of the play offs just so I can see the disappointment on their fans faces. Edit: obviously I just jinxed it and Leeds equalise.

I reckon the players and the fans would accept they have done immense and want a home tie v one of the 'big boys'. The way they are playing, you just never know and they probably fancy themselves to be compact against any side. But even then, losing 6-0 wouldn't be embarrassing they've done amazing regardless. The club would've made a fortune and they could be playing in League Two next season. Some year for them!

Greatest memory of growing up and loving this club was Sir Bobby. What a man! Happy birthday

Alonso and Moses are so good in this team.

Arsenal should be in the lead.

Lovren, Evans and Jones all out injured. 10 men for me, then. Decent start with Hazard and Monreal. Benteke hat trick would be ideal now!
-
Got to agree. Without checking I reckon there were 4 shots on target the entire match, but even a couple of those were not clear cut chances. Wigan are just a shit, boring, pointless club.
-
Awful match so far.
-
Diame and Mbemba should come back in. Then luckily for us we will have Atsu back for the Wolves game just as Gayle will be fully fit. Massive weekend of fixtures - Tom Ince will have a field day if we defend like last night.
-
Lazaar? I must be missing something in the few games I have seen him. Agree on the other two, though.

This is largely his squad and we are average. If he is sticking around he needs to buck his ideas up.
