  1. He fell over way after Taylor let go, neither a pen or a red card. If that was a red card then we had a similar one. Yes, he did fall over when he didn't have to, but you get nowt for it if you don't. Stevie stopped him getting the shot off by foul means, which, as much as I don't like, it is his job, he got away with it, hooray, at least it kept it to 3-0 and we kept 11 on the park, embarrassment reduced; I know our guys get roughhoused all the time, but we should man up and keep going. Thought Graham acted like a pro, I would have been accidentally sliding through balls to Cissé all day Disappointed with G-Nev demanding reds for Taylor and Gouffran at half time tbh, thought Gouffran was just putting his foot on the ball and it was kicked away from underneath him so his foot landed on the ankle instead. No respect for Redknapp Jnr like, and the two of them yelping cowardice was pathetic. Gary, man, I was singing your praises on Friday, don't get caught up with those twats, ffs. Taylor's would have been a technical one and I guess I couldn't have argued it, but forwards do that too and they don't get red cards and penalties against them if it's seen. I want to see no shirts to grab, just bodypainting

Sack the lot tbh. They have to go. Downsizing, restructuring, rationalising, so sorry etc.

We've got an office mackem and tomorrow I'm just going to say "fair enough" - I reckon everyone else will too. He's got that to give him a little chubby every day for the next 4 months at least. We've got to look after the culturally disenfranchised in society, haven't we? Tbh I was starting to feel like a bully just for supporting the better team, now he'll feel like he can contribute to the football debate without curling up under his desk in the foetal position and crying. When he starts getting cocky I'll gently remind him it was three lucky shots in the corner and Cissé was never offside, like.
  4. Blobfish and Schteve with Kamara and that nobody on Goals on Sunday before our game. Torrents of bullshit expected - be warned.

I'm shit at this so tell me what the tune is Volare I think
  7. Tbf it's not sure what it is in English. A bit of a vowelonant, if you will, a rebel letter not to be pigeonholed, perhaps. That crazy English language, eh?
  8. Unfortunately for him it's too late to say he's sorry. How would Gotze know, why should he care? Please don't bother trying to find him - he's not there.

Michael Gray and Steve Howey coming up on SS1...
  10. Former Manchester City player favouring Manchester City shock. And he was shit, and still is. With a blocked up nose, and being called Trevor fucking Francis and being a cunt. Poor guy's been dealt a tough hand there. Fucking ignorant arsehole. Imagine if you hit your peak at 16 like he did and it's been downhill ever since. Wanker.
  11. Those insufferable twats on Sunday Supplement were on about him before there, repeating the bollocks about us not being happy about the workshy prick deserting us in our hour of need, and sympathising with the deluded weasel's need to set the record straight. Wouldn't have even mentioned it, but they later went on to slap each other's backs for being proper journalists who know the truth, in these days of citizen journalism from the man in the pub who doesn't know anything. I mean, how hard would it be to ask some Newcastle fans instead of taking the word of someone with no chance of being objective at all? Would that not be the minimum you would do before going on national TV and pontificating, surely fully aware that you have no knowledge of the subject? There really is no satisfactory explanation for this behaviour.

    Sir Alex Ferguson

Like he would notice it if he did.

Christ, yes, had wiped that bastard from my memory. Our fullbacks take some punishment.

    Horror tackle

Laugh-a-minute funnyman Neil "Razor" Ruddock on Pedro. Clattermole on Beye and Barton. Arca on Shearer. Whichever mackem broke Pistone's leg - Gray?
  16. No. They've got worse. Sad indictictment of PL refereeing is that the best one they've ever had was an amatuer who's day job was a schoolmaster at Eton. Harrow.

    Football pet hates

Oh ffs. Just crawled out of bed and hoyed the TV on for a gentle start to the day only to be greeted by Martin fucking Samuel being a stupid fat Cockney cunt. Seems to have shaved some of his greasy beard and cut some of his greasy hair but that wasn't the real problem. Christ, the other wankers aren't much less awful either tbh. Singing Big Fat Sam's praises atm. AC/DC DVD it is then.
  18. Obrigado. Whatever that means. Fwiw all the Portugeezers/Brazilians I've ever worked with haven't been bothered whether they were getting rice or chips, as long as they were getting something. They weren't getting it off me though, just to be perfectly clear. Oh, no.
  19. WTF? I'm away for a day and this happens? Benficans seem a bit fun. The only word I know in Portuguese is the most popular swearword and the only phrase I know is telling them where to put it. Oh, hang on, "obrigado" is Portuguese as well as Japanese isn't it? Two words, then. Fucking multilingual, me, like. Hic.
  20. I know, it seemed like we used to get wet most of the time, but we knew that was gonna happen. We didn't deserve a roof at that time I guess. Never clambered up the floodlights though, no head for heights. Bet you got a better view though and didn't get shoved as much. The good old days
  21. remember our old man hoying you in the air at the winner- in the west stand paddock. My first game was a pre season friendly against benfica and the great Eusebio, the official opening of the east stand- remember being proper scared by the height. cant remember the year- round about 73ish. Supermac once told me Eusabio was simply untouchable in the game. I have faint memories of being taken to Joker park in the 70s as a kid- but my first proper away trip with mates and that was Carlisle nyd '84 3-1 loss on the way to promotion. except that friendly was 1971, i don;t think the east stand was built till 72/73. aye- so ive read- think my old man must have been mistaken when he said they were opening the new stand- still rekons he took me to thwet friendly. did you see in the earlier thread, i have the prog from that friendly. I need to find out what pre season friendly it was opened. Says here it was partially opened in 1973. First home pre-season friendly after that was 1979 You can have Ollie Burton's testimonial v mackems in May 1973 if you like. Or Tony Green's testimonial v smoggies in May 1974 - I was big enough to go by myself by then, so I was actually in the East Stand for that one. Bobby Charlton played for us! Or Internacional from Brazil in March 1975 - they're a bit more exotic AND they play in red shirts and white shorts. ? I can choose? I always thought it opend in 74 tbh. Was deffo there when they opened the stand can remember it-being really scared of how high it felt and have very vivd memories of it being a brand new place. I was 6 in 74. but when I asked my dad the first game he took me to- he was adamant benfica friendly- so maybe he took me in the leazes- he took me in there mostly in the 70s. can also remember being taken to a match that wasnt sjp very young had to be roker or ayersome as we went in a car- not all day and the only memory I have is walking through terraced streets and a shed sort of stand from the outside. But that means you would have been 3 when Benfica came Childcare was very different in those days, like.
