  1. Unfortunately I think mike is right on this one. You sir, are a rectangle. Rafa made too many demands (same as at previous clubs) he wanted to go to China & signed a pre contract agreement he also applied for the Leicester job. Go form an opinion, research both sides of the argument or failing that just f*** off. There is no evidence to suggest that Rafa applied for the Leicester job, just that he was linked to it. If anything, he turned it down. Rafa has many offers from China before his current job, he even joked about it in one interview. At anytime he could have left NUFC for much bigger pay, he never did. It wasn’t until after 3 years of Ashley when he decided he could no longer fight him, he was even rumoured to be one the one who got Staveley interested in buying the club. Ashley says he went for the money and was never loyal though, and stupid people will believe that. Let’s not forget that it was only a year ago Ashley and Charnley were offering Rafa to the Spanish FA for national managers job. Rafa stayed for the fans. Definitely did apply for Leicester though as he would like to have stayed in England. Rafa informed ashley & charnley he would leave at their meeting in may. Can’t blame him if he did apply for the Leicester job but I don’t believe it. He made too many demands though - lol. Get to fuck. There is no such thing as too many demands when it comes to trying to improve a football club. What’s your angle?

  3. He never said that. Journos were saying it but he never commented.
  4. Unfortunately I think mike is right on this one. He and you have never been more wrong A lot of it is no doubt bullshit but don’t think Rafa is as innocent as everyone thinks he is Explain. Rafa played a fantastic game the whole time he was here. Leaking stuff to the press at the perfect times. One example being Rafa’s people informed sky that he’d be at the training ground? Why? Coz it would whip the fans into a frenzy. I love Rafa and I hate Ashley but Rafa played a good political game That leak apparently come from Sky London HQ. Who lives down London again?? Really? Coz Pete graves basically said it came from Rafa’s people. He could be lying but why would he? can’t remember seeing that and I’m basically glued twitter all day at work hoping Ashley fucks off or we sign loads of players. If you can find it I’ll hold me hands up and apologise. Yeah he tweeted that it came from Rafa’s people. But it doesn’t mean it’s true. Reeks of bullshit if you ask me. I’ve had a look but can’t find it. Must have deleted it. I’m certain he tweeted it tho. It was around the time the story came out that Rafa had decided to go by May and people were giving Pete Graves dogs abuse coz he was being arsey saying Rafa was at training ground coz he worked there when in actual fact he was clearing his office. I love Rafa and I hate Ashley but let’s not forget no one thought Rafa would go to China and if u think money wasn’t the main factor for going there you are kidding yourself. That said I think Rafa knew he couldn’t work under these cunts anymore. Only so many times he can get fucked around Was it Downie maybe? Anyway, I don’t believe a word of it Aye mate the tweet is posted above Yeah ta, saw it. Was a bit behind. Rafa didn’t want to leave though mate. He wanted to stay and build a project, he only left because it was impossible under Ashley. Can’t blame him for going to China for a nice pay day when there is nothing else in the U.K. available at the moment and he’s not able to build the vision he saw here. You just cannot blame him one iota.

  6. I agree. But there are people falling for it.

  10. That interview was more for the neutral and for the media than for most of us. They’ll lap that shit up.
  11. Amen brother. I’m with you on that.

  13. Mike Ashley insisted on Friday night that it was 'impossible' for Newcastle to have kept Rafa Benitez – and that the former manager was determined to take a lucrative deal to China from the start. Ashley revealed he even floated the idea of an eight-year contract with Benitez at a meeting on May 16, and that the manager's refusal to commit could have cost the club record signing Joelinton. Newcastle's owner spoke out following criticism of the breakdown in talks with Benitez – who he admits did an 'excellent' job – and criticism from the former boss following his appointment at Dalian Yifang in a deal worth £12m-a-year. And he said: 'If you come out and say the things he did you would think it was football club first, Rafa second, money third. I'd say it was money first, Rafa, then the club last. He took the totally soft option, took the money and went to China. That disappoints me. If he'd gone back to Real Madrid, or a top six club in the Premier League, I get it. But it was about money and all he had to do was say that from the beginning. 'My view always was we had to keep Rafa. For my own personal safety we had to keep Rafa. I thought he had us offside, he had us cornered, it wasn't fair, it wasn't right, I've been totally out-manoeuvred, I probably shouldn't own a football club, it's ridiculous, but I'm a big boy. 'Yet every time with Rafa it was impossible – there was always another thing, and the next thing, and the next thing. He asked for a 50 per cent pay increase and I think he did that because he knew it couldn't work. And if we had agreed to that, I think it would have been something else. And everyone thinks we lost him because we wouldn't pay a couple of quid more. He had the microphone and we didn't. 'I'm not disappointed in him as a manager – he did an excellent job. It puzzles me why any fan thinks I wouldn't want him. I'm not the thickest person on the planet. Why wouldn't I want excellence? Why wouldn't I want this manager? Accuse me or many things, but not that. We couldn't have done any more. 'At one stage they were talking about a one-year extension and I said my preference would be for an eight-year contract. That's what I have to do in business when I invest. I have to take a medium to long-term view. I don't worry about my takings on a Saturday. And we are now talking planning and strategy. So if you really want me involved, I need time from you, too. And that was the idea. I did it before with Alan Pardew. 'Looking back, though, it doesn't really matter what Rafa asked for because I think the Chinese thing was done. He had talked about what he could earn in China previously. We were not even slightly surprised by that move.' This shit is horrendous. Totally expected though and unfortunately some will lap it up and keep turning up at the matches
  14. Is there a way of finding out if he actually ever pays for this though? I mean a way we can trust and not his own figures.

    Transfer rumours

We don’t care about goals at Sports Direct FC. We just care about the $$$. Mike can trouser a nice profit in a couple of years. Piece of piss this.
  16. You could be forgiven for believing the name of the club is Sportsdirect.com Newcastle United Sportsdirect.com. It pretty much is now.
  17. Scored like 2 goals or something for Telstar in the Dutch 2nd division last season apparently. That’s me back in. Rafa who...?
  18. He won’t admit it. He’ll be thanking Mike left right and centre like Pardew.
  19. In sunny Egypt gents on holiday :-) Got nothing to add anyway on what’s happening I find the running of the club boring now, genuinely lost interest in what’s happening with the events the last couple of weeks. The appointment of Bruce was definitely the final straw for me. Saw the Seymour saga and went fuck that if that’s the mentality of our fans now I’d rather give it a miss, though I know that’s not the view of the majority on here. Glad you’re still around
