I’ve wet them again

Bruno was shoo-ing us up the pitch right from the start

How’s that for wetting your knickers!!
-
A few changes of knickers needed already by the looks of it

Never trust a man, Not even your brother, Whose hair is one colour And beard is another.

I’d be bricking it as a Spurs fan after this montage of Trippier they’ve just shown

Let’s get into these Chas and Dave listening, Courage Best drinking Claaaaaaans!

What a goal

Howe also spent a lot of time with Simeone after Bournemouth. Can’t imagine he’d be in for a player who has clashed with someone Howe respects.

The old us didn’t do things easily. This is a completely new era. We need to change our mindset on this or we’ll just get stuck in the same old patterns. We’ve gone from relegation fodder to a cup final and challenging for a Champion’s League spot in about a year. That doesn’t smack of not doing things easily. We’re winners now, not losers.

Personally, I’d rather start Isak but I’d be happy with Wilson instead. He’ll be in Loris’s head after the last match against them.

That Athletic article today about European football mentioned our top earners (Trippier and Bruno) are on about £120k per week and that we don’t want to / can’t afford to bump up our wage bill massively in one go but want to do it in a slower more measured fashion so as not to affect FFP too much but also not to piss off current players. For that reason I can’t see us going for some of these top end players we’ve been linked with who are already on high wages. Certainly not more than one of them anyway.
-
Upshot of the Athletic article in terms of Castore is that there are 4 seasons left to run and that we don’t want to pay penalty clauses to get out of it because it will adversely affect our FFP position. It’s a good article, well worth a read as there’s a lot in there about our finances and how Europe would give us a lot more wiggle room in terms of FFP but also will bring extra challenges. Edit: What Jack said

I’m really hoping it was just one of those one off losses that all teams seem to get at some point in the season where they are well beaten.

Or a reaction the other way in front of a partisan crowd

Kick Tottenham’s front door in and the whole rotten building will come tumbling down. Really hope we get off to a better start than we have been in recent games.

Yeah he looked a talent They’re pretty gutted, said he’s been their player of the season.
