Who would you fancy if we were to bring in 1 or 2 forwards?
I'm the last person to ask about this stuff. I barely watch any football outside our games.
I just hope it's a player suited to whoever our manager is at the time as we've bought a few recently who don't seem to be.
Looks like he's in Ba's situation when he went to West Ham. Apparently injury prone but very talented player "proves himself" at a relegated club and gets a free transfer. If he'd sign the kind of deal Ba must have then I'd have him.
A sizeable part of the reason I want him gone is how bad I've felt coming back from away games. £49 for an adult ticket at Man City + travel etc and he plays for a low scoring defeat
To be fair to Miliband he could kiss what remained of his political career goodbye if he didn't resign. There's no way he could've spoken with any authority as an ex-Labour MP if he sat quietly while the club he was vice chairman of appointed a self-confessed fascist. He had no where else to go.
I agree. Just looks like he dropped them right in it for self serving reasons when he could have done it privately and with little fuss.
Miliband was the headline act but twitter was already in full flow and twitter is one the main drivers of a news story.
That's just the equivalent of 606 on the radio. These things become big stories then die out after a few days when something else happens (Haidara/McManaman being a good example).
Miliband didn't help Di Canio or sunderland at all with his face saving publicity stunt. It'd have nowhere near the amount of attention without that happening.
Haven't kept up with this, is he still not getting surgery like? I thought we'd tried to chance it twice already without surgery, and he'd pulled up each time?

Same with Ba in the first half of this and last season.

/gets battered.
Once v Reading. Well they did Swap around that game.
really didn't seem that difficult a question.
Everton too. Because Cisse didn't know how to play in the centre
That's one reason but also the horrendous injury problems we've had all season given the lack of investment made last summer in first team players and 3rdly finishing 5th last season and being manager of season which weren't fluke.
A few more...
I desperately want us to win the cup but also don't want us anywhere near that competition next year as it'll result in another relegation battle.
Oh Pardy...
