WTF Id rather have 2 derby games to really add some excitement into our season than have 2 meaningless games against Derby. The massive rush for tickets this morning suggests I'm not alone. Aye but surely you would be disappointed rather than "really hating it".... If they go down its party time! I wouldn't give a f*** if they got relegated for the next 5 seasons and went bust and not longer existed. c***s. I would genuinely hate it. Football is about these games and local rivalries etc and losing our only rival (probably forever as they're not coming back up) would leave a massive gap in our footballing lives. I admit I don't take the rivalry as seriously as most btw, only when it matters. i think you are in a minority jack, a very small minority. Probably, for now at least. If they go down and stay down you'll realise I'm right

I'd really hate it if they went down. Not having the derby games to look forward to would make next year so much less interesting.

We can try to win it, but that won't effect the actual outcome. Hark at Mr Negativity over here!

Wigan have Norwich at home while we have Man City away. We could very realistically be 3 points off 18th by full time so can we try and win this game pls and not just "throw it".

Guessing a small profit, break even or small losses are absolutely fine at the moment, hence the decision to buy those new players. What they don't want is continued losses that require subsidy from outside the club. Also the new TV money will change the game for everyone presumably. That must be a big reason why we signed players - to protect our league position at all costs. Clearly not all costs

I will shock you here but i do believe its entirely possible to do both. Incredible i know but theres no rule that states we can only have one back up to Cisse. Buy 2 young strikers then, which is what we should be doing anyway if Campbell isn't near enough to being ready. We really need Shola to have an extended run in the first team this season just to remind everybody. We can still buy two and have Shola as 4th choice or whatever without worrying. Still makes your complaining seen daft tbh He'd be on far too big a wage for 4th choice but whatever. Absolute shambles that this is being both discussed and defended yet again. Even if he didnt sign he would be here next season regardless though ffs In the final year of his contract. Light at the end of the tunnel.
