Are we doing any better points wise from 17th than we were after the Reading game? Despite the influx of quite a few very talented players we seem no further forward in any area. I don't think we'll go down but being 6 points off 17th (with a game more) after 30 games is a big worry, especially as we've been "too good to go down" before.

I haven't read the thread but "Pardew's not good enough" "Leave Pardy alone ffs!" I assume

It'll be fun to read his reviews of the stadiums he'll be at next year

Wigan have 2 games in hand. Could save themselves again.

Man Utd basically had the title won by February. It's not a good league. -

They've only beaten West Am and Reading at home all season while we've only beaten Villa away. Not looking like a classic on that basis. -
If you can look past the confusing bullshit and numerous contradictions that's as near as we'll get.

It's annoying to have a home game a few days later. Pretty much have to leave the next day like the last 2 away legs.

You better throw in the expertise of the Clairefontaine French centre too the, they clearly had as little an idea about the severity of this. are you aware of context, for example it's often said thet someone is doing well just after a heart transplant, it doesn't mean they are ready for a marathon, just better than the shape they were in. "fantastic condition" is somewhat better than "doing well". It was only a day or 2 later he was moaning about how unfit he was too btw, while still saying he could be back for the next game. Give it a rest, man. I know it's a thread to discuss and debate Hatem ben Arfa, and now his injury, so I'm guessing all that's pretenced it too... but oh my word you're boring. LOVE it when lurkers call me boring Another one did it a few weeks ago saying I'd made 1 good post or something. Put me on ignore, sweetheart. Lurker. I just chose to think about what I say (usually). I've read all your chat from the moment you signed up with your hilarious reasoning. You've just gone on and on and on about the same thing for weeks, man. Go outside or something. 15,417 posts You've made quite the impact on The Flasher. Back under your rock, lurker. You shall be remembered as a wise man who's words touched a few, before they went to bed and forgot all about you. Which is ironic considering what's just happened but yeah. Please go away.

“He’s had a strain so he could be involved as early as Wigan on Sunday so the alarm bells aren’t ringing" Dr Pardew strikes again.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hatem_Ben_Arfa#Club Very good by the looks of that.
-
It'll be 38 starts in 3 years now. He needs a drastic improvement on that next year or bye bye.
-
Because he'll have chosen to leave. He has practically wasted a year of his career being here so far through no fault of his own, other than lack of research before he signed.

Really? Thought you'd much rather want Kazan or Fenerbahce before Lazio. Aye i would as well, Lazio are very very good and have an excellent tactical mind for a manager. I think we could do them if Debuchy, Gouffran, Ben Arfa and Cabaye were available but fact is they won't be. That's one of the main reasons i'm not extremely confident we have so much offensive talent missing, we can't keep clean sheets against everyone. Oh well anything is a bonus for me now, i never expected to get anywhere near this far. Hatty and Cabaye might be fit. Believe, yo. Believe.

Looked like Sissoko was pushed up with Cisse which completely changed the game imo. Still completely lacking in ideas going forward but at least we were actually going forward for the most part.

This is the kind of luck we never get in cups. We're definitely going to win this then beat Barca in the Super Cup. Definitely.
