Let's play the one who has 10 rather vital goals instead of the one who looks like he cannot do anything right in the box and has looked that way all season. Contracts have nothing to do with it.

Don't think so. Also Mike Ashley will go for the cheapest, unattached manager. More so now than after Swansea With the transfer window coming up it's decision time.

I've wanted this spineless fraudster out since Swansea but now it's a real possibility. Gutless coward.

Notting Hill Carnival - "Today was a little bit unfair on us. We couldn’t move the game to Sunday because of the Notting Hill Carnival. It would have been good to have that extra day’s rest. Also found this after the Man Utd game..."But at the end of the day it's not a bit of magic, it's two set plays - something we pride ourselves on and something we are good at."
-
Has he blamed Senegal? Quite happy to add it, just can't remember him saying as such. "We kept being promised that the decision would be overturned and that Senegal were going to let Papiss (Cisse) play. We kept waiting and waiting and it was about 1.40pm when we finally found out that wouldn't happen. So it did affect our preparation and him missing today was a blow to us. We didn't do anything wrong and he should have played." From the Swansea game. In Magic not being real was a joke right? Only i'm beginning to doubt myself. He mentioned magic as a way to win games a few times “I want to win on Thursday and on Sunday. And I have got to come up with some sort of magical plan which makes me do that.”

Ferguson, Marveaux and Shola are probably just better attacking options. You're still right though.

Lack of investment. Magic not being real. Players having their heads turned. Senegal.

Last bet of the year. £100 on Ba & Cisse to score anytime - 17/2. Tiote first yellow is 7/1, Ba anytime/win is 6/1 and Cisse anytime/win is 13/2 fyi.

Krul Simpson Perch Coloccini Santon Anita Tiote Cisse Ben Arfa Jonas Ba IMO. EDIT: No, it'll be Williamson instead of Perch. Got a sneaky suspicion Perch might come in mainly due to the fact Fulham are not exactly the most tall side in the division... that and some of the quotes Pardew has come up with recently makes me think it will happen. Probably still won't though. Moleman is the grass! -

Since Pardew is a professional and experienced football manager, isn't the former more likely? Just saying. Insane post. He's trolling in the deep.

A small squad is a major part of the problem. Other managers are doing better with less. And we've used about 30 players so far. Did many managers do better with less last season? Didn't think so. Time moves on. It's not last May. It wasn't so long ago that it is no longer relevant. It doesn't help us in our current situation. Falling from 5th to 14th should be cause for concern instead of dreaming about last season. But it's completely 'short termist' to overlook it. He worked brilliantly with a small squad last year and badly so far this year. On any sensible analysis of Pardew, you wouldn't then ignore last season's achievements. Looking at Pardew's management career as a whole (long termist), It'd be foolish to hold up last year as a marker for his ability or future achievement. Before us his highest placing was 9th before he was sacked the year after. It'd take an incredible brave person to bet on us getting to the heights of last season again.

And you just know it's all true as well. I thought he'd be a nightmare when we signed him but as far as I know he's been perfectly behaved. Can't help but get the feeling he's being wasted a fair bit though.

In terms of Europe they did their job. Getting through the group was the aim and we're through. As for the league, it's not just the young players who are struggling which, to me, suggests it's not only their fault. Pardew is right when he says it's hard for a young player to come into a struggling team but he needs to ask himself why the first team is struggling, and has been all season.
-
We've defended well for the most part, mostly due to having senior players back there and Bigirimana doing well. 7 goals in 6 games against those teams is poor, whichever way you look at it. I do admit the games have been pretty fun to watch because of the unpredictability. We qualified from the group so I'm satisfied. Cisse starting half the games should have meant a bigger goal tally but he's rather unreliable this season. A bit of confidence from him and we'd have had more.

Hopefully his touch is as good 20 feet in the air as it is on the floor. -
A small squad is a major part of the problem. Other managers are doing better with less. And we've used about 30 players so far. 30 players that include so much dross. The dross are doing fine in Europe. That also doesn't explain why the better players have been under performing all season.
