Nobody actually hates him, but to say he wasn't one of the most infuriating players we've had in recent memory is just rewriting history. From my experience, the people who like/d him the most are the people who didn't go to the games he started in.

He was my least favourite player for many years. He was even more frustrating than Obertan will ever be. The majority of this thread has more anger in it than most others.

It happens quite a lot. Young player has a few good non-competitive games and becomes over hyped. This summer was rather embarrassing on that front.

This. Really don't get why he doesn't even appear to train with the first team. Tom! Where ya been, blood? Working, mostly! Then combined with some studies and retaining an active social life, it leaves precious little spare time. Good man. One of the best men on here. New Ronaldo is growing on me.

It's probably just playing the odds game. You're guaranteed to get a cross in from a normal corner but with a short corner, the player receiving the ball is often closely trailed by an opposing player/s before the corner is taken so it's harder to make it effective.

We're at too delicate a stage to be loaning anyone out imo. We're already in danger of being very light in first team squad depth and the reserve squad looks low on numbers too. I don't think 1 month loan deals are worth the effort either. It should be 6 months minimum.

Certainly good news, if only for the fact we might yet get some value for money from him.

His body is falling apart. He's probably still feeling that injury he had when he left us.

He's played nearly 300 games since he left. Could have really helped us out countless times over the years. Horrible decision to sell him, especially at £1million.
