There's loads of Newcastle ones if you buy physical books, which might be impossible for you atm. Shearer, Ferdinand, Ginola x2, Keegan, Cole, Beardsley and Lee all have books out off the top of my head.

That was the summer before we went down http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/8075713.stm Interesting quotes too. Might well be hearing them again quite soon. If you really believe that £80m included the £140m loan(at the time) then theres no point He still publicly put us up for sale, which is the point. I haven't looked into it deeply but I've not seen any mention of the loan being included in any of the reports from the time. £80-100 million is the number. Its always been up for sale 'at the right price' that will never change. Of course it wasnt mentioned, he isnt going to say it to the press is he? You genuinely think that not one person in the world wouldnt have bought us 'all in' for £80m? It would certainly be mentioned in the press if it was indeed nearly 3 times the £80 million All the other numbers came to light but not this incredibly important one?

He tried to sell us last time. There's one/another reason.
-
He only cares about money and exposure for his shops and there is zero of either down there. Knowing how much he hates us, he'd see it as the perfect time to sell us to some Nigerians via email. There's also no proof at all that he'd spend money to get us back up. He didn't last time, quite the opposite in fact. We came back up because we were already too good to be there and we had Hughton (who he sacked for being nice and liking the fans).

If we're talking psychology... http://www.westernmorningnews.co.uk/Uri-Geller/story-21279511-detail/story.html He was quite handy for England at Euro 96 and helped end our London curse. Missed a trick there, Roy

As usual, no context or reason behind these quotes appearing. Just Alan phoning up journalists at 3am for a chat.

24 games is the max. -
I thought Sturridge was quite crap for the most part. He always seemed to be shooting yet never did much damage.

That's the thing, he's horrible - I can get that, I hate the diving and all that, but I get it - but what f***ing purpose does biting serve other than to get you banned and f*** your team. He's quite calculating, when you feel a bite, the natural instinctive reaction of anybody is to swipe or hit out at the direction of the bite. Notice his bites happens in the penalty box. It's to try and win a penalty. Don't ask my why i know this. I never bite in football matches. Nobody does other than him There's no logic to it at all. -
Everything else was fine but this specific quote has driven Ian to delirium. What a moment for both himself and the forum.

He was the fucking new Maldini not that long ago
