Yep. Reminds me of their game against Palace. Dreadful first half and lucky not to be a goal or two down. Then they dismantled them second half. Was the opposite last week. But they’ve had plenty of games where they’ve only started playing in the second half.

Anyone know if you can still get the basic, kind of thick striped scarves anymore? Similar to the ones at Shearer’s testimonial? I’ve been meaning to get a new scarf for years and I know want one for the home semi next week. I had a lovely one with just a small, gold embroidered badge at the ends. But I swapped it with a Brugge fan when we played over there.

Aye. The lack of goals are my worry. But I think if we could get yet another 0-0 or even lose by just a goal in the first leg. Then we‘d turn them over at SJP and get through.

I don’t enjoy watching our games in the pub. Always feels like I miss things and you can take it all in and concentrate better at home. Other teams it’s different. I watched Arsenal’s last two games with a mixed group of fans and it was good fun.

Yeah. I have always been impressed when I’ve seen him and think he would fit our system well. Pretty tenuous link and would probably be priced out of a move at this stage. But I’d love us to sign Onana.

A few have mentioned this to me. There was a tiny window where I feel like he could have cleared through the lot and got to it. But wouldn’t even guarantee he would have stopped a goal or big chance. There were a lot of players in the way and it was like a split second where he could have went for it. Ramsdale tried that today and fucked it massively. Pope did it for Burnley last season when Wilson scored.

What a game that was. Arsenal deserved it.
