Me neither, he played well. Obviously needs a goal but his all round play was pretty good on Monday. His link up play is very good, if he can add a few goals to that he'd be a top class old fashioned centre forward. I think that'll come in time, he needs to develop his instincts in front of goal. Not just the finishing but the movement and anticipation too. He's not there yet and probably shouldn't have the responsibility of leading the line at this stage but that's what we've got and we'll just have to hope Rafa can get a bit more out him quickly. Getting Shearer in to give him some coaching would be interesting, I think he'd benefit massively.

I'd be a lot more confident if Mbemba makes it. Gonna be in a bit of bother if he doesn't and Taylor, Colo and Dummett are all out too, who would we play? Janmaat at centre back?

Wasn't too sure about him as a player at first but his attitude seems to be spot on. Comes across as a really down to earth hard working guy.

Cheer up for f***s sakes. We've got Rafa Benitez and at the end of the day we're playing one of the worst teams in the league. One of the worst teams but they're still above us. Not only that but they've beat us 6 times in a row, albeit heavily paedo assisted so they don't really count for much. I think Rafa is a great manager but he can't physically go on the pitch and score the goals Mitrovic should be scoring or head away the crosses Taylor should be clearing. I suppose we'll find out in just over 72 hours. Aye, he's no Pardew.
