A sharp dose of reality here chaps. We are a poor team in the unfashionable North who don't pay big wages. Why would he come here when he can move to a more ambitious club in the capital who appear to have big plans in this window and are paying him much more money? My bet is that they will finish above us anyway come the end of the season. We are where we deserve to be, we can't rely on our french contingent to 'persuade' him to come here. If you were working abroad you wouldn't go to work for someone just because there were english lads there, if someone down the road offered you much more money. You would go with the money and laugh your cock off at the rest. Can't blame him one bit.

Look at that fat one (fourth chimney from the left) - he's well out of sync with the others. A disgrace to the dancing chimney sweep profession. That's Shola

Here we go, many a slip and all that. Looking at the weather though this could be reminiscent of when we signed Tino and he turned up with a fur coat on looking like a black Audrey Hepburn http://nufc.com/advent2011/asprilla-fur-coat.jpg Ha ha, that's the one. Who's coat was that? Was it even a coat or a rug with a button?
  4. If they clamp down on that kind of offence Willo will only be on the field for 5 minutes a game and he'll only be available every other game

I was initially delighted and excited at the prospect of signing a French international then now it may become a reality I am resorting to my learned behaviour of doubt, suspicion and feelings of anger that we haven't spent more. I will therefore be undermining him at every opportunity so that if he proves to be unsuccsessful I can rest easy that I knew all along.

  9. Did he go off injured or not? If he did Simpson and Saylor at centre half against Carroll doesn't fill me with hope :jones:
  10. We have a system that works, 4-3-3 with Ba on the left and Ben Arfa on the right Pardew needs to grow a pair and pick this formation rather than sh*t himself in case Ba has a Tiote-like tantrum

http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=729208#ixzz25xa3X9HO How simple are they that the objection to their racist language is just 'political correctness'. Small town ignorant morons.

What makes me smile is the 'obsessed' line. Why the hell would anyone be obsessed with sunderland? They only mean anything at all to us but it's in a scruffy neighbour way who deserve to be laughed at, the ones whose kids are running around the front street in their nappies when they're seven.

Aye and those little dancing men that looked like something from a shit arcade game. High tech at the time!!
  17. Is that their own financial restrictions or are they doing a bit more money laundering for Standard Chartered (alledgedly)
  18. Wow!! In other news Lee, Newcastle will need to score more goals than Tottenham to win on Saturday but if they score the same number of goals then a draw is more than likely.
