That must have been another one as the PR director claimed to have an affinity to Sunderland on account of not liking Newcastle. If he was Samson the cat he would probably have used that as a reason

Coventry getting promoted will give them something to whinge about next season
  3. 1964

I saw that and assumed they mean the one that was married to Prince Andrew

To be fair to them that is the standard he is used to so its not a bad appointment for a division 3 side
  5. 1964

    Sunderland

Plus they got a points total that would have seen them relegated well before they were in most Championship seasons

Already been announced for next season. Bungalow of Light marra. Ground floor squat in a derelict building is more apt. I thought it was a nice touch when they opened it to the homeless during the recent cold snap. I now realise they had just moved in
  7. And does he want to manage in a football stadium or an athletics stadium?
  8. It's close season so any protests would be where exactly? Ashley could gamble that it'll all blow over after the world cup and before August. Plus it gives his mates in sky a chance to develop the spin
  9. I doubt he will take him which is a shame. I think he watched him against WBA and he didn’t play well
  10. Exactly this. Dier passing 5 yards sideways, Livermore passing to the keeper counts as a successful pass. He is the only one that can make a difference

https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/nufc.1430800/page-3 Why the need to say basically the same thing seven times? 7 in a row marra

I imagine he was talking about the Stadium of Light on a matchday

Mackem logic at its finest here when talking about the Championship 'It's a poor league, unfortunately with us the worst of the lot. No reason we shouldn't aim for back to back promotions now'
  14. I often say that when he's on the pitch

Average gate receipt of £11.41 lest we forget. That still amazes
  16. 1964

    Sunderland

Just let that sink in, the average cost to watch Sunderland was £11.41 per match. So if you turned up at the turnstile and offered £11.50 to get in you would be overpaying. That is pretty shocking
  17. 1964

    Sunderland

Unlikely as he doesn’t fit their colour demographic

Aye, Crooksy is a makem fan, known him since school. Of more concern is the midget getting in the car behind them. She looks like the dwarf on ‘don’t look now’.

    Transfer rumours

We are leaving Europe though? Aren't we? No. We are not. Yeah, pretty difficult to change geography, can't see us leaving Europe any time soon. Tectonic plates are slower than Shelvey
  20. Elliott having a nomination in 'save of the year' was like Stevie Wonder hitting a nine dart finish.
  21. Hopefully they'll buy him back and he can take it with him. They can have it back with him inside it as far as I'm concerned
  22. Anyone who thought he wasnt going to get done for kicking out at an opponent regardless of how pathetic it was hasnt been watching too much football over the last few years

To be honest this is better than they could have ever hoped for but to run them as a ‘sustainable business’ will mean a good few years of consolidation. This is not a sheikh mansoor type buy out, it sounds more like a conglomerate of semi wealthy speculators. They will probably come up next year but I imagine they will be in the championship for a few years
