This has potential for being one of the worst games ever shown.

This is what happens when we finally play a proper club in Europe so true

This is incredible

What happened to him? Only just got home so missed everything, doing the catch up of the threads now

For a second I thought Joey had got the "only god can judge me" tat, eagerly clicked the previous page only to be let down
-
Will there be a highlights show for this anywhere? Missing the whole game

He played on the left last week and looked completely dire. While I agree he does generally look better on the left, it's been against poorer opposition. He's simply not needed.

This isn't a dig, but may I ask why you support us? Just curious tbh! I could never bring myself to be a glory hunter. I have buddies who are "diehard" ManU and Chelsea fans. They've suffered so much angst, the cunts (they also know fuck-all about the game). I have an odd habit of supporting storied, bad-luck teams with working-class fanbases too. Watching NUFC fight back through the relegation season really sold me on the club. And I liked the kits, probably the most typically American reason for supporting a team. nah I like that reasoning, good on you for not just jumping at the glory hunters. For me, it was purely down to Alan Shearer, he was my idol when I was a little boy. Dad thought he could convert me to Millwall though, wasn't having any of that When Newcastle are down, I always tell myself, "Well Deuce, at least you're not a Millwall fan." See you say that but I've seen Millwall more times at Wembley than I have Newcastle

my Dad is already giving me shit about Wembley being their second home

Wimbledon v Newcastle, 1999. 1-1, don't really remember much except that I was in the Wimbledon end because I got the ticket through their football school thing When Shearer scored my dad squeezed my leg so I wouldn't jump up and celebrate

Oi oi, epic banter.

funnily enough aye, listening to radio newcastle on headphones. someone texted in claiming 261- caller said 388. it was just the way you put "they", had me worried for a sec
-
Are "they" the voices in your head?

Absolutely agree with this and I'm sick and tired of trying to tell some of my friends about how the service needs to improve in order for Papiss to truly shine. As others have said, when Hatem is back I think we'll start to see a steady flow of goals from Cisse, the amount of movement around him should be fantastic, allowing Cisse to get into better positions easier and start to really fill his boots.

He seems really well liked by the senior players which is lovely to see. Got nothing but good feelings towards this guy, hope he makes a big name for himself here
