I don't particularly enjoy the obsessing over HBA at times, but to me his consistent selection of Gouffran even after Hatem has gone is Pardew trying to prove a point.

Not sure his energy levels are quite as good as Débuchy's. That was what MD was best at and he would play with the same energy for the full 90 minutes. He's one of the fittest players I've seen play for us.

In his overall time here Sissoko has definitely shown he has significant technical deficiencies. There's been long periods where the ball has just bounced off his feet and he's lost possession. His passing hasn't been the best either. Saying that, he's been exceptional in pretty much every regard the last couple of months but let's not forget the previous several months where at times he barely looked like a footballer.

Wouldn't necessarily say he's a better player than Suarez, like. They're on a similar level. Probably a better finisher though.

I don't think he's at Débuchy's level yet, but he's significantly younger so there's plenty of time.
