Only because of the way our coaching staff insist on setting us up. Reliant on long balls and knock downs, which obviously isn't ever going to be Ayoze's forte.
He's so talented though. Control and dribbling are amazing.
We didn't pump many long balls today.
Didn't say we did. Just that our attacking plan is largely reliant on it; which is a failure of the coaching staff.

I quite like Pearce but you would've appreciated someone talking out about Pardew like that a couple of months ago though. It's tedious as fuck listening to pundits going on about how every single (British) manager is doing such a wonderful job.
He is their worst commentator. I used to listen and ignore what he was actually saying because he was Robot Wars, but he's appalling. That thing about goal line technology in the world cup was embarrassing.
He's freelance I think, so we might still have him commentating on ITV.
If so it'll only be on the occasional England match, considering they've lost the FA Cup, EL and CL games.
ITV not renewing Andy Townsend's contract

I don't think it's possible to defend his actions since coming out of prison, tbh. The girl he raped has had to change her identity and move 5 times now thanks to his defenders tracking her down and he's done nothing to stop that.
Yeah, agree with you 100%. I wouldn't be so against him returning to football had he shown some signs of reformation. As it is though he doesn't appear to have learnt anything from his experience.
