That's what you get if you wait until 70 minutes to start trying to score 2 goals without conceding. If they score whilst you're all out attacking then you're fucked.
Cabaye's best performances have come as the furthest forward midfield player where he can create chances for Cissé. He's much better when he can slide passes through to him along the ground than he is sitting deeper and lofting balls into the box.
I think I'd be looking at buying a new destroyer to replace Tioté this Summer. It is true that Cabaye plays a lot better alongside Tioté, but Tioté's been very poor individually for what seems like forever.
I remember a stat from his first season (I think) with Man Utd where the average distance he traveled per match was one of the highest in the league for strikers. It's a myth that he's lazy.
Is it weird that I'd just let him have the rest of the season to get fit and make sure he's ready to come back for pre-season? Very little point in risking him imo and it'll only put him back in the shop window.
