it’s a bit concerning that Barnes looks like he’s running in treacle in his sub appearances so far. Doesn’t appear to have any stamina either.
-
yep, think it has to be him, Tonali and Bruno atm. Ideally Bruno would get a rest but not sure Willock has done enough and Longstaff is not an option.
-
thought he was fine tbh. He’s not Isak and he’s barely played for like a year or something.
-
I think Dubs goes back in now surely. Can’t have a keeper throwing a goal in every game and who can’t kick or dive to his left at all.
-
in fact Salah had 11 attempts at dribbles and only completed one. Hall is goat
-
ended on 8/11 and 4/15 respectively. ground duels champion, you’ll never sing that
-
Hall has been as good as any full back in the league against Salah this season really
-
should just never give the ball to Murph in our own half. Almost always gets turned over.
-
just been a proper pre-season vibe, neither team left second gear. Pretty frustrating.
-
think he needs some time out of the team really. He’s even slower than usual and he’s really struggling to have any positive impact on games.
-
Hall has won 5/8 duels and Salah 2/9
-
5 fouls for Mac Allister without a yellow now
-
perfect tackle
-
Liverpool have actually been pretty passive out of possession. The game is there tbh, just a shame we’re missing the guy who scores all our goals
-
retire Pope
-
given them way too much respect really. They are really not that good. Feels like we’ve just set up in an unusual way so they don’t know how we’re going to play the final tbh.
-
he was always much slower than Longstaff
-
any even semi-pro keeper should save that easily
-
Pope is criminally shit, man.
-
why’s Wilson just stood offside all the time in that move? come on lad
-
huge gaps in behind our midfield here
-
he ran the Bromley game but I guess that doesn't count.
-
Basically Lewis Hall is gonna have to be mint
-
I think a back 5 approach is arguably the best way to go really. You get the left wing back on Salah with the left-sided centre back to back him up when he inevitably gets past him, and you also get less defensive responsibility on Gordon, who you just want to be running at Trent at every opportunity with Hall backing him up.
