https://punchng.com/osimhen-beat-vlahovic-leao-to-serie-a-award/?amp just won Serie A Best Young player award. He’s got 14 goals but been injured most of the season. He’s fast, powerful, a good finisher, can hold the ball up well and bring other into play, and also got lots of potential to improve.

Real - who were willing to pay €230m to sign the forward on Deadline Day last summer - were ready to give Mbappe a signing-on fee of £110m and wages of £20m-a-year after tax. Their total investment would have been about £300m. The news has been met with a vociferous response from Spanish football authorities, with LaLiga saying it will complain to UEFA, French tax authorities and the European Union over PSG's "non-compliance with UEFA's financial fair play". PSG head coach Mauricio Pochettino said last week he was adamant he and Mbappe will still be at the club next season A statement from LaLiga on Saturday night read: "This type of agreement attack the economic sustainability of European football, putting at risk hundreds of thousands of jobs and sporting integrity at risk - not only in European competitions, but also in domestic leagues. "It is scandalous that a club like PSG, which last season reported losses of more than €220m, after accumulating losses of more than €700m in prior seasons (while reporting sponsorship income at a doubtful valuation) with a cost of sports staff around €650m for this 2021-22 season, can face an agreement of these characteristics while those clubs that could accept the arrival of the player without seeing their wage bill compromised, are left without being able to sign him. "For all of the above, LaLiga is going to file a complaint against PSG before UEFA, administrative and tax authorities in France and before the competent bodies of the European Union, to continue defending the economic ecosystem of European football and its sustainability." The statement concluded that the behaviour of PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and his club "endangers European football on the same level as the European Super League". (from Skysports)

We were linked when he arrived at and then left Villa iirc, and I wasn’t too enamoured with him coming to us. Seems to have progressed since he was playing in the PL in fairness- was maybe just the wrong time for England before.

https://salarysport.com/football/player/phil-foden/ This site says Foden is on 100k- must have got a contract improvement since that link was published. Plenty of sites say Jesus is on 90k though which is what the original discussion was all about.

Plus sleeve, neck, arse etc sponsors…
-
No chance we’ll sign Jesus or Raphinha, and Targett is much more likely than Lodi imo (not both). Paqueta is the likeliest link.

He’s on 90k now. Bruno is on 120k. Would he be after 240k+?

Stadium seats, public fountains…nothing is safe from the ‘classy’ fans and their defecating…

Arsenal signing 19 year old Brazilian winger, Marquinhos from São Paulo
-
Good. It won’t change any league standing but EFC shouldn’t be allowed to get away with their financial irresponsibilities (especially when we are supposedly under so much scrutiny).
-
Same price as Nunez iirc. £67m?
-
Disgusting if true. And also makes even more of a mockery of FFP etc.
-
A dearth? We’ve been linked to loads! Schick, Scamacca, DCL, Nunez, J.David, Osimhen, Isak, Dybala, Leao, Rashford, Nkunku, Etikite, Kalajdzic, Gouiri, Depay….
-
Pards….is that you?!
-
Mbappe. (If he gets a new improved player/manager contract)
-
Wonder if he’ll employ Bruce just so he can say he’s been coached by one of the best managers of the past 100 years…(and have more days off) ?
-
Signed a new contract in the last month, but Romano says he’ll definitely leave and the contract extension is just so he can leave on loan with an obligation to sign…. as has been talked about us doing recently. ?
-
No. Unless you believe Italian journos. He’s been linked with Man Utd the last few days.
-
Absolutely. A good mentality and character along with the opportunities provided by his family, and his natural talent- he’s bound to go a long way, injuries notwithstanding.
-
Does he? He grew up a Newcastle fan because of his dad, I think? He’s been at Arsenal since he was 7, but he was watching us with his dad after that.
-
Howe says he will also play the loan market: “We had Matty Targett and that’s an example of how well the market can work. I’m certainly not against it, I love and have used the loan market in the past. It’s about getting the right player and if that means it’s a loan, it’s a loan.” “One thing I will say on the loans, it’ll be very similar to the Matty Targett, it’ll be with a view potentially to signing that player. They are the best loans because the player is invested in the club.”
-
He’s allegedly ‘only’ on £30kpw too
-
I think we’d do well to get him for that money, more like 80m maybe, but what do I know. He’d be a fantastic signing, but honestly just can’t see it. Unless Arsenal want cash to rebuild and replace players- they’ve got a fairly thin squad as it stands. didn’t know about his NUFC connection though… https://www.arsenal.com/news/bukayo-saka-my-own-words
